i usually don't care what happens around me, i usually don't pay attention, but if i see something wrong, i do speak up, my hubby on the other hand doesn't he will pretend he doesn't see it, i mean we have always been like this, i am the nice one in the relationship,
so wed we are at sam's club and this little old lady in front of us, she was so sweet, anyway, her hands kept shaking really bad, well i let her in front of us cause all she had a was bag of Miracle grow, and some plants, so she was making over the baby, talking to him, then telling me about all her great grand-kids, etc,
well she got up to check out, and she only had a 50 and a 100, i know cause she keeps her pic in her money part, and she was showing me pictures of her family, well her order came to like $28.71, her hands were shaking really bad, so she handed her wallet to the cashier, the cashier took out the 100, then she told her her change was like 21 and change, and i was like that doesn't sound right, but then when she was counting it back, my hubby was saying please shut up,
so i reached up and turned around the thingy that has the amount on it, and i called the cashier on it, she said i was wrong she took a 50, so i was like no she had a 100, and the cashier argued with me that she only had 2 50's, well that made me mad, and then the cashier said she just opened her register and she didn't have any 100's in it, and the old lady didn't know what she had in her wallet at the time, but i saw it.
this woman that always makes over the baby when we are in sam's club came over, she is really nice, anyway turns out this isn't the first time she's been caught stealing money from customers, and there was the old lady's 100 in the bottom of her register,
so the lady was really happy, she told me she gets money confused, and she has trouble grasping it, so she always just gives it to the cashiers to get out for her, i was surprised they didn't show it to her, i mean that's the right thing to do right, i get in your wallet, i pull out a 20 and i show it to you so you know what i'm doing,
i was so mad, so my hubby was mad at me for getting the cashier in trouble, what. so i'm suppose to just stand there and act like i didn't see it? seriously? so if it was your grandma you'd rather someone act like nothing is going on than stand up for her. so my hubby got mad at me, then i gave a bunch of baby clothes to total strangers today, they needed them, and he is mad about that now too.
did i do the wrong thing in calling out that cashier? just wanted some input thank you have a nice night. happy mother's day. i was starting to wonder, cause even his mom today was like, shouldn't you mind your own business? my parents abused us something awful growing up, and no one did anything, cause it wasn't their business, well i think that if it involves any injustice you should stand up for that person, who cares if it's your business, make it yours,
but then he was telling his mom today about how i embarrassed him again, and she was like, can't you just mind your own business for once.
