  • Can anyone answer a question about medicaid and having a baby?

My wife is pregnant, but lost her job after our 1st baby, now 7 months old. She is on unemployment. I make pretty good money and have a lot of paid for assets, but we are financially WAY in the hole. (selling the assets is out of the question since the housing market is nill to none right now) My question is that the baby isn't due until July, so how (if possible) can she qualify for medicaid? Do we have to file income tax separate? Our bank statements have no money for the last 6 years. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

  • My neighbor is building an UGLY building and it violates deed restrictions. Any advice?

He is putting up a medal building with foundation that is 2 stories tall and has a 4 car bay with metal roof. The deed restrictions say that it has to be brick with a composition roof which it isn't. I called the city and they said that they had nothing to do with the deed restrictions and that I would have to file a lawsuit to stop it. Well obviously that puts me in a bad spot with my neighbors and I can't do that. I was thinking of calling the developer and seeing what he said, but since all the lots were sold years ago I don't know that he cares now. Any suggestions of what I can do without tipping off to the neighbor that it is me doing it?

  • So the first Cowboys coach was successful for 28 yrs and after Jerry Jones, 6 more coaches?

Is Jerry going to EVER figure out that the common denominator in his failure is HIM? I don't care if he own the team, but he has NO CLUE AS TO HOW TO GM.

  • I got too many Guitar Hero's for Christmas and don't want to upset anyone when I take it back?

Ok, I already had GH III with one guitar. So I got a bundle for Aerosmith from my wife and a world tour bundle from my brother. In addition, I got a world tour game by itself from my wife's brother. So if I take back the world tour from my bro, then I will have my original guitar and an aerosmith guitar and my bro will know I took his back. If I take back the Aerosmith, then my wifes bro will know that I got a world tour bundle from my bro, because I will have the guitar. I don't want to upset anyone, but there is way too much money spent. What should I do?

  • If I fry a turkey in oil can I freeze the oil for next yr?

Paying $40 for the oil to fry the turkey is RIDICULOUS, but hopefully it will save if I freeze it or refrigerate it?

  • The owner of a restaurant never charges me for my food, what should I do?

I go into this restaurant once or twice a week and the owner and I talk about sports and stuff. Then when my food comes, he never lets me pay....he just says, "it's on me". I feel weird. I try to pay, but he says forget about it. Some days I don't even want to go in because I just feel bad that he does it for free all the time. I know he is just being nice, so should I just let it ride? He knows I have plenty of money, so it isn't like I need it.

  • I bought a house with a broken pipe inside the slab and it wasn't on the seller's disclosure?

Immediately after I tried to use the water, I noticed it was leaking 1500 gals per day. I called a couple plumbers in the area and they said "I don't need to come out to that house, I've been out there plenty of times before and I can't fix that leak." Obviously it was pre-existing and he lied about it. He is trying to get out of paying because in the contract it says "Seller will items listed below......(as-is)." He is stating the sale is as-is, but I know you can't lie on the seller's disclosure and put as-is to cover your lies. How easy is this going to be to win? Can I get triple damages for breach of contract and fraud?
