I have two tough Belgian Malinois dogs (police type dogs) and am looking for a long term kennel, perhaps for a month. I cant exactly send them to miss fluffys grooming and boarding, if you know what I mean - these dogs need a real handler if Im not with them. I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a suggestion on a dog trainer handler skilled with work dogs? thanks!2 AnswersDogs10 years ago
I waited about a year to deal with our mice issue because i didnt want to exterminate them - but, its out of control and as much as i hate to do it- it must be done. Any suggestions on the most humane way to exterminate them? And yes, it has to be done, the humane traps, even many at a time, just arent working. Pls serious answers only, this is wretched.1 AnswerOther - Pets1 decade ago

Ok folks, please help me out. I love this quote and I want to refer to it in a speech, but can anyone tell me who originally said it? I have found so many versions of this on the web attributed to different people, please help?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a great website to order good cheeses & crackers, etc. - basically the ingredients of a gift basket. I just ordered some from Hickory Farms, but my family enjoys this type of food and we dont need the whole basket and wrapping. I live in a rural area and have to order this online, thanks in advance for your help!6 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade ago
This seems to have gotten more pronounced lately, I used to love sugar and I just don't crave it anymore. I'm pretty healthy, don't have high blood pressure. Strangely enough, I mostly crave green vegetables and salt. I'm wondering if anyone has an ideas why this would be, thanks!1 AnswerMedicine1 decade ago
Hi everyone, the staff at my local humane society is so overworked and burnt out is really sad (this probably is the same at many shelters!). The staff has been cut to 2 people and a few volunteers. They need a little perk to let them know they are appreciated. I don't have the time to volunteer and I can't spend a fortune, but please give a few ideas to put into action. PS I am already helping the animals so I want this to be just for the staff. Thanks for your advice, it's appreciated!9 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade ago
Hi everyone, I'm buying beds for the cats at my local shelter. They need beds that can be washed without falling apart - so far I've bought smaller fleece beds without a lot of padding and I'm not sure if they will be comfortable. Do you have any suggestions for nice cat beds that are completely washable? Maybe bleachable? I appreciate your help.2 AnswersCats1 decade ago
There was one site I heard about months ago where you sign up and it takes you off many lists. I want to stop all the catalogs and other junk mail, have called many individually but some always gets through. Please help if you know anything, I appreciate your time!3 AnswersOther - Advertising & Marketing1 decade ago
Hi, this may be a strange question but I am hoping for opinions.
I have three cats already, and I found two more stray cats hanging around my property. After caring for them for months, there finally was room at the local no-kill humane society and I had to take them in because I can't care for 5 cats.
My question is, I have some bedding and other items that were used by the stray cats that I wanted to give to the humane society to give to the new owners. My question is, do you think the new owners may want these items? Or should I offer to buy some new items instead of taking the ones the cats like? I know this is a weird question but how would you feel if you were the new owner, the used items are very nice quality.26 AnswersCats1 decade ago
I just watched a peta video with a poor goose getting feathers ripped out - is this a normal way of gathering down for clothing and bedding? It looks horrible. I'll buy a down alternative if consistantly cruel methods are used, does any one know? Thanks for your help?8 AnswersBirds1 decade ago
