Hehaa, heyy brothaa. Im Emy. Whoop whoop!
I want something fitting, and a little bit on the dark side. She's fairly small, and very mellow without a spot of white on her. So far I have:
Senca - Shadow in Slovenian
Kelpie/Nennir - Mythological horse creature that lived under water and drowned children (Solid black)
Ravenna - Meaning Raven, or Dark Queen.
Do you like them or not? Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!7 AnswersHorses8 years ago
Samhain is really important to me via religious reasons, and I'm getting a new trail Gelding sometime soon who has a dreadful name and I was thinking about calling him Samhain. Now! Here's my dilemma. The correct way to pronounce Samhain is Sow - Un, a bit of a strange word, but I like it well enough. But I have a habit of shortening all of my pet's names (Nalani to Nala, Leonidas to Leo, Cobweb to Webs) and tend to call them the shortened version frequently (If we're training, or I'm giving a command etc..). I don't want to be calling him Sow (like a female pig) or Wun. So, I was thinking, and I really like Samhain said just as it's spelled. Sam - Hayn. Sam is a nice enough shortened version, I figure. Certainly better than Sow, and it seems to fit him. But I'm not sure if I want to butcher such a great word, at the same time. Opinions? Thanks alot!1 AnswerHorses8 years ago
He's a bigteddy bear who loves to go lumber around on the trail - but he can really get going when he wants too. He's a big, gorgeous buckskin Andalusian, Percheron cross whos eight years old and a little over 16 hh. He's a very deep, dapple buckskin with a long black mane, and heavy feathering on his feet. I really want a strong, bold, greek name for him. So, far I have:
Atlas (The titan that held the world on his shoulder)
Helios - Sun (Sun God)
Abraxas (Horse that pulled the chariot of the sun god Helios)
Darius - Wealthy
Julius - Youthful

He's an Andalusian x Percheron. He's a real big boy, and can be a bit intimidating, but he's a total teddy bear. He loves lumbering around on the trail and will do anything for a peppermint! He doesn't have a name right now, because he's a rescue, and I'd really like something big and unique for him. I like Atlas, after the man who held the world on his shoulders, or Helios, after the God that pulled the sun across the sky in his chariot, but I'm not really sure it fits him. I want something big and bold for him, and elegant as well.5 AnswersHorses8 years ago

Whenever my hair gets wet, it turns into a giant ball of frizz. I've dyed it more than I care to count, and it's really taken a toll on my hair. I need a good three hours just to make it look deceant, and even then it hardly looks good. It only settles in two or three days after I've straightened it a million times, and by then I need to wash it again. Help, please!3 AnswersHair9 years ago
