  • Terminator 2 question?

If at the end of Terminator 2 all of the evidence of SkyNet is destroyed (the chip and arm from the first terminator, T-1000, and the 2nd terminator, as well as Dixon and all his documents, computers, and research) wouldn't John Connor cease to exist? Since there would have been no nuclear holocaust or war to save humanity from the machines, then wouldn't Kyle Reese never have gone back in time and subsequently never have become John's father, preventing his birth, and therefore his existence?

  • Why isn't Jose Reyes stealing bases this season?

What is the matter with Jose? (And Willie Randolph for that matter) the Mets clearly led the majors in SBs for nearly all of last season, but for some reason the team leader is Luis Castillo (4) and Jose "Mr. I'm the new Rickey Henderson" Reyes has just 3. Why is that? Because if league leader Michael Bourn has 13 SBs in 16 hits, then how is it that Reyes has 3 SBs in 21 hits?

  • The Civil War (by Victory Games)?

Does anyone have a copy of "The Civil War" by Victory Games? Its an old game, made in the early 80s I think. Anyways, my instructions manual is a little ripped and there is a corner of one of the setup pages missing. Can anyone tell me what The set-up instructions are for the Confederates in 1862 and for the Union in 1863?

  • What kind of season do you anticipate Albert Pujols having in 2008?

    Pujols's 2007 season:

    158 games, 565 at-bats, .327 BA, 32 HR, 103 RBI, 2 SB, 99 R

    Pujols's career seasonal averages:

    156games,579at-bats, .332 BA, 40 HR, 123 RBI, 5 SB, 121 R

Due to Pujols's having a noticeable offseason last year, a worsening elbow requiring surgery, and an unlikely chance at success for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2008, what kind of season do you predict him having? And if he is on your fantasy team, should you trade him? (Becuase I did lol)

  • Do you NEED a cellphone for a high school relationship? (GIRLS answer)?

I'm 17, and I'm a junior, and it seems to me that in order to have a girlfriend in high school, you need a cellphone. Only thing is: my parents refused to buy me one, or even let me buy myself one, so there is no way I can get one. So does that mean that its impossible for me to have a gf? So, bottom line, are cellphones a must-have for a girlfriend at my age?

  • Was it a good idea to trade Pujols?

I know the best sight is hindsight, but was trading Pujols off my fantasy team a good idea considering his elbow and all? I wanted to build a strong rotation (in a 20 team league) and I got Scott Kazmir and Casey Kotchman for him. Now my rotation is: Kazmir, Justin Verlander, Ian Snell, Kelvim Escobar, Kevin Slowey, and Boof Bonser. Was it worth it? and will Kotchman be an acceptable replacement?

  • Is religious tolerance the key to peace in the middle east?

much of the fighting in th mideast has hapend due to th radical violence of sunnis and shi'ites. Howevr many people in that region especialy the youngr age group seem to desire peace regardles of religion. Does this mean that the key to end the violence in the MidEast and the world can by found in religious tolernce? And does this mean that the US a nation that was founded on religious tolerance is really spreading democrasy into that region by sowing the seeds of religious, ethnic, & racial tolerance? By seeing how US Soldiers ( Caucasians, Africans, Christians, Jews) live & work together might the young generation in Iraq by taking their example & trying to live that out in their country Remember the Crusades? Who evr thought that Catholics & Muslims could ever peacefuly coexist after that? the US despite it being hundreds of years later disproved it. I go to a Cath. HS with Muslim students. No one would ever have thought that possible then, but it has been proven possible by America

  • Is religious tolerance the key to peace in the middle east?

As most of us know much of the fighting in the middle east has precipitated due to the radical violence of sunnis and shi'ites. However, many people in that region, especially of the younger age group seem to desire peace, regardless of religion. Does this mean that the key to end the violence in the Middle East, and to a beginning of the end of violence in the world, can by found in religious tolerance? Subsequently, does this mean that the U.S., the nation that was founded with religious tolerance, is really spreading democrasy into that region by sowing the seeds of religious, ethnic, and racial tolerance? By seeing how US Soldiers (Hispanics, Caucasians, Africans, Catholics, Jews, Protestants, high class, middle class, low class) can live and work together, might the young generation in Iraq by taking their example and trying to live that out in their country? And how does all of this effect your view on Iraq?

  • How do you translate guitar tabs into bass tabs?

I want to play/sing a solo song, but I play bass. I've looked up the guitar tabs, but is there a way to translate or transpose the guitar tabs into the equivalent bass tabs. (I am aware that I may need to lower the octave, but that's fine, just how do I do it?)

  • Lets leave Iraq! (But they won't leave us alone)?

I have a short, simple, open question:

Why do people think that if we leave Iraq, terrorist violence will never touch America again?

  • America's Biggest Problem: The Liberal Media?

Does anyone else realize the danger that the liberal media represents to a democratic society? He who controls the media (or propaganda as it has become) controls the government, and he who controls the government contols America. The liberal media is convoluting conservativ ideals, Republican politicians, and wholesome values; then replaces them with selfishness in the form of isolationism and abortion, as well as the promotion of laziness. Do Americans CARE about their government? The way I see it, the majority of US citizens view our government like they view shopping: if a $200 ipod is sold at one place, and the same one is sold at $50 at another place. They'll buy the more expensive old rather than waste time traveling to the other store. Whatever happened to American ideals of helping other nations in need (World War 2, Vietnam)? Why don't Americans care about their politics enough to make their own decisions? And finally, why do they let the news decide for them?

  • Dan Snyder: How could you?

Why does Dan Snyder feel that every time there is a head coach change in Washington, he has to completely clean house? How could he fire Gregg Williams, who was a decent defensive coordinator, and then promote a first time D. Coord to replace him? And why didn't they give Al Saunders another shot at OC? The Redskins offence was not great last year, not certainly not bad enough to fire Saunders for it. And finally, who do you think will get the Head Coach job?

  • How can I get respect?

I always have problems with getting girls. (Junior in HS, 17 yr old) I'm the sensitive sort, and I would consider myself to be very emotionally mature. I've been hurt a few times in the past by people who weren't sensitive. My self image is OK; I know I'm not bad looking because I get girls (but they are the shallow kind who lose interest quickly if you are looking for a deep relationship like I am), and I think I'm a fairly interesting guy (track, football, student gov., play bass and sing in a band), and I have big college/future goals of serving my country. The only thing is: I go to a small school (700 people) and I really want a girlfriend (I want a valued, trusted, deep friend who I can always love and rely on when I need help, and to be there for her when she needs it), but I get no respect from anyone: they all say I'm not "in", and I never get talked to like all the popular kids do. In this world, you need 3 things to get girls: looks, personality, and influence. What do I do?
