So I'm very tight on money at the moment, and I was going to make several dragon eye pendants for people for Christmas. I've never done this before, and didn't know that everyone used nail polish. I don't use nail polish, so I don't have any. I do have acrylic paint though, and a lot of it. I was planning on using acrylics for this, but now I'm not sure if you can. Can you? And I know that you can get really cheap nail polish, but I need a LOT of it.2 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style10 months ago
Alright, so I have 2 pregnant guppies in a 10gal tank. Their names are Shaza and Zaag. They both got pregnant on the same day by my black yin yang male, and it's been a little less than a full month. So, Zaag's gravid spot is black, like it should be, but Shaza's is a dark reddish color... Is this normal? Does it just mean the fry have red eyes? I'm confused and a bit worried now. They are both the same size, and Shaza is definitely pregnant.1 AnswerFish10 months ago
I tried looking this up, but couldn t find anything. So I ve read all the Ranger s Apprentice books except for the Royal Ranger, then the actual Royal Ranger series. I m wondering (out of the Royal Ranger series) which ones take place first. Obviously the one under the Ranger s Apprentice title will come first, but I m really just asking if Duel at Araluen, or The Red Fox Clan comes first. Because when I went to the actual website for John Flanagan, The Red Fox Clan is labeled as book 2 in the series, and it says it "picks up right where The Royal Ranger: A New Beginning left off", but Duel at Araluen isn t labeled at all. I m just confused. So my understanding of it right now, is
1. Ranger s Apprentice: The Royal Ranger
2. Royal Ranger: The Red Fox Clan
3. Royal Ranger: Duel at Araluen1 AnswerBooks & Authors11 months ago
So, I'm not JUST looking for good community fish. I only want ones that I can tell apart from each other, or they can be without any of their own species. In my 30 gal right now I have 4 guppies, and my betta. I always name my fish, so I can't get any ones that you can't tell the difference between, like tetras, and stuff like that.1 AnswerFish12 months ago
I was hoping to use sand in my new 10 gal female guppy tank. I was reading that toxins can build up if it just sits there, but I was wondering if the same thing would happen if the layer was only like half an inch or maybe even less. I was going to use gravel, but with the way I'm setting up the tank, the gravel is way too big. I'm going to buy about 6 D&D minis, a dragon mini, and a volcano bubbler, then paint everything, seal it with plasti dip, then set up a fight scene in the tank. I don't want to get a burrowing fish, since one would probably mess up the scenes, and I don't wanna have to fix it every day. I think its JUST the guppies that I'll keep in there, as all the other fish I get will probably go into my 30 gal with my betta and male guppies. And if the sand won't work, does anyone know of anything that's smaller than gravel, but wont build up toxins like sand?2 AnswersFish12 months ago
So, I got 3 guppies to breed with. 1 male, 2 females. They are in a fully filtered and heated 10 gallon with hiding spots, plants, ect. I only got them yesterday, but they all went near the back left corner, and they just sit there. Occasionally they'll go over to the other side, then go back, and they eat when it's feeding time, but other than that, they just sit. I had the water temp at 74f, and thought it might be too cold for them, so I put it up to 77f, and nothing happened. In my 30 gallon my males are super active, and I have that at about 78f. The 3 new ones are all very young, except for one of the females. The other two look about a month old. Anyone know why they're just sitting?2 AnswersFish12 months ago
So, this might seem like kind of an odd question, but I was wondering what colors Argonians can be. I'm making a character (Not for playing Skyrim) and she's half Dunmer, half Argonian. My plan is to have her basically be just a Dunmer, just with horns, short claws, and have her hands be scaly. I want the color of the scales to match her eyes, which are purple (She's related to Karliah). The purple eyes were kind of her big thing, since no one else in Skyrim (Besides Karliah) has purple eyes, but I can change that I guess. I suppose my question is can Argonians be purple or red lorewise?1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 year ago
Im thinking about breeding guppies. Keep in mind I'm not doing this to make money or anything, and I'm not just trying to get pretty colors. I'm doing this because its just something I wanna try, and I plan to keep all the babies too. So, whats the best way to do it? Should I use a breeding box, or not, and why? My plan (as of right now) is to get a 10 gal tank, heated, and with a sponge filter, and then get a male, and two females, then put them in the tank, wait for them to get pregnant, then move the male to my community 30 gallon with my other males, then when I think they're about ready to birth, put them in the breeding box, and when the babies are born, move the females to a different tank while the babies grow in the 10 gallon. As soon as I can tell genders, put a divider in the 10 gal, and separate them. Once the males are old enough to be with other larger fish, put them with their father, in the community tank, then put the mothers back in the 10 gallon with the females. Also I have extra tubs, so if there are too many females, I can move some of the babies to the tubs together until I can find them a home. Does this sound right? I've never bred any animal before. I had a mouse who had pups before, but I just let her do all the work XD.6 AnswersFish1 year ago
Do female bettas choose territory to defend like the males? I have a female, her name is Numinex, and shes in a 30 gallon tank with my 5 guppies. They have been together for a few days, and she started flaring at my 2 yellow and orange ones, Naaslarum and Voslaarum. My other guppies are a white one named Paarthurnax, and 2 dark blue ones, Odahviing, and Vulthuryol. Numinex hangs out near a purple floating plant in the back left corner of the tank a lot, and she flares at them only when they are go too close to that plant. I can tell them all apart, and Numinex seems to get more irritated when Naaslarum specifically, goes near her 'territory'. Paarthurnax and Vulthuryol dont ever go near it, but Odahviing does, and Numinex is totally fine with him being there. He even rests there when he does rest, and she'll even sit next to him sometimes. This whole thing kind of confuses me, cause I thought only males had territory, and Numinex seems to be FRIENDS with one guppy, while really disliking 2 of the others, and is neutral with the last 2. Anyone know anything about this?

I have a tank that is 22 inches long, 17 wide, and 23 high. I am only keeping 30 gallons in it at the moment. How many fish could I keep in there? Im wanting to have some guppies (No more than 6, if even), 2 mollies, a betta, and 2 aquatic frogs, along with a single goldfish. Would I be able to do that?8 AnswersFish1 year ago
So, I'm doing an art thing and need to know of all the butterflies and moths of the vanilla Skyrim. I just need a number, and all the names.1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 year ago
I'm going to get some algae eaters for my 15 gallon tank, (It is a 30 gallon split in half) and I am thinking about getting mollies, but I will only get one, that is if they can live as singles. I have 5 guppies in the one I'm adding an algae eater into. If mollies cant live alone, then Ill just get snails that eat algae instead.
I am having a lot of trouble taming in anxious budgie Shadow. This bird has been through a lot, and I can't do anything with her. I am going to try separating her from my cockatiel and only hand feeding her, so she'll have to get used to my hand. I of course leave a full thing of water 24/7 in there for her. I am just wondering how much of her food I should feed her and at what time of day, and how many times she should be getting fed.
So, he's fine now, but let me tell you what happened. We were on my bed, and had just finished training, and he was just going around eating all the leftover treat crumbs. He stopped, and was biting at his right foot, but it just looked like he was grooming himself, so I had him step up in my finger, but when he did, he lost his balance, 'cause he wasn't using his foot. He kept lifting it and he mas making hurting noises. I tried to see what was going on but he wouldn't be still, so I went to cup him in my hands and get him still. Basically he started flying, and when I caught him I got him to get still so I could see, and his toe was bended back with the claw stuck in his lower leg. I got it out, and there was no blood, but I'm just wondering if I should treat it or something just in case. And does anyone know HOW the heck he got it like that? (Also I'm going to clip his talons now)2 AnswersBirds1 year ago
So, I'm getting a cockatiel, and I know they get dust everywhere, and I know rats don't do well with dust. The bird cage is currently right next to the rat cage, and I'm just wondering if I should move it or not, cause I have never had cockatiels before, so I'm not sure HOW much dust they get everywhere. And It wont be a problem moving it, I'd just have to rearrange my whole room to do it (I'm not being sarcastic, I have a small room so its seriously not a big deal, It will just take a while to do)
