  • What's the legal term for land access rights?

I live next to a neigborhood with a home owners association. One road dead ends at my property and I've been using this as a means of entering/exiting the property; the driveway is hard to get out on a busy road.

Recently, the association complained to the city and they put a barricade on my property line, preventing me from using the road.

I know there are laws that state that if someone uses a piece of property long enough, they have the right to continue to use that property in the same manner. I was wondering what this is called.

  • What's like a Honda CB650?

I had a Honda CB650 in college and am looking for a newer bike. I was wondering what bikes are on the market, now or a few years old, that have the same feel, response, and keep a typical street bike look.

Since college, I've gained a few pounds and would like a bit more horsepower.

  • 66 Austin Healey Coil Supply Voltage 6 or 12?

    Hello--

I have a 66 AH 3000 that won't turn over. I've tried putting a spark plug next to the engine block to look for a spark. Nada.

    History--

I had the generator rebuilt. Car ran after that.

Car sat for a couple months(how do things break when not running?)

Couldn't get the car to turn over.

When I opened up the distributor cap, the wire coming in from the coil had melted through. Bad sign.

    Replaced the points, and condensor

    Wire still wanted to melt

    Replaced the coil

    Wire stays cool. Good.

Still, there is no spark. I measured the voltage that's being delivered to the coil. It's 6 volts.

    Should this be 12 volts?

What could cause it to be only half?

  • Why are polygraphs not allowed in court?

Don't say 'because they could be wrong'. Witnesses could be wrong. Evidence could be wrong. Lot's of things could be wrong. From what I've researched, polygraphs are as accurate as the person giving them.

In a way, jury members are lie detectors. How often is a jury required to figure out who is lying?

There has to be some other reason these are not allowed in court.

  • How do you measure flour?

If a recipe calls for 1 cup flour, I assume you level it off. If it calls for 1 tablespoon, do you level the tablespoon off or is it assumed that it is a heaping tablespoon.

I already know the answer, just offering a challenge. There's a geometric answer as well as an algebraic answer.

  • Why do women date jerks?

I first thought of this when I was in college. I'd drive by the home for battered and abused women. My dating life has been sparse to say the least and I thought, why would women choose men that beat them and their kids, over me.

Over the years, I've noticed this alot. Maybe not the extreme of physical violence but after listening to women's stories, I am in total awe that they didn't see the guy was a loser.

Why do women make these choices?
