  • Why do BMW Drivers....?

a.) drive real fast, never use turn signals,

b.)think they own the road, and have no respect for their fellow driver.

c.) always think they have to be in front of everyone else no matter what the speed?

You see them all the time on the highways going past you at 90 mph. I have a red sports car (Mazda 3), but I don't act like I control the road. These are expensive cars (BMWs), why don't they treat their cars better??

  • Family of Different Faith Visiting for Holiday?

We have family coming in for the weekend before Christmas for a family event (my dad's 60th birthday party). My mom wants to celebrate Christmas while everyone is there, but doesn't want to offend my relatives (who are Messianic Jews...they believe in Christ but not in celebrating Christmas). How would you go about celebrating Christmas without offending someone in another religion? PS-sorry if I spelled Messianic wrong

  • Yahoo Answers on Home Computer?

Hi everyone! On my home computer I am able to access yahoo answers to pick best answers and vote (thumbs up and thumbs down) but for some reason, it won't let me post a question, or answer questions? Has anyone else had a problem like this? It has nothing to do with my computer itself as that is working fine, and I just got a new internet system so I know it isn't that. If someone could help me out, i'd really appreciate it, thanks so much! (PS-i'm on level 5 so I have unlimited answer capability)

  • Ideas for Christmas Party Gift?

I will be attending a holiday party in a few weeks at a friends home. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any unique items that I may bring as a way to say thank you for inviting me. I know wine is customary, but i'm pretty sure that a) they already have wine in their fridge and b) people will be bringing wine to the party...so any other ideas...unusual or creative will be bonus points....thanks! PS-websites will also be helpful!

  • Coach Purses??

I'd love to get a coach purse for a Christmas gift for my sister, but was wondering if anyone knows of any good websites out there that sell the real thing for pretty cheap as I can't afford the $300 + that they retail for. Or any coupons out there that give you like 50% off retail would help too. Thanks!

  • Townhome vs. Condos?

Hi there, I am looking to possibly buy my first home next spring, and am thinking along the line of a townhome or a condo. I was wondering your opinion on both of them, what the pros/cons were, if you own one, and if you enjoy owning them, or if you own one and hate it, and wish you had bought the other. Please let me know your thoughts...thank you!

  • Online Nursing Degree?

I'm looking to possibly start doing a total online RN nursing degree if possible and if I can afford it. I already have a Bachelors in Sociology and not sure if any of my credits will transfer. Can anyone recommend a school that is legit (preferrably not University of Phoenix, etc.) but rather a larger well-known university that may have all of its classes online? I know it is a long shot, but never hurts to ask! Thanks so much, and if you can provide a website for me to look at that will help your chances at getting the 10 points. =)

  • Minnesota and 10,000 Lakes?

I was wondering who would actually take the time to go and count all the individual lakes in Minnesota, and what would classify as a lake (size)? Have always wondered this since I saw this on one of the new quarters...thanks!

  • Survivor Last night?

Who else is glad that Candice is gone? YAY YAY! I am so glad that I don't have to watch the "lovey dovey" thing going on anymore. Ugh, couldn't stand that. Now if we could get rid of Jonathan, I think we'd have a real game on our hands. I couldn't stand him at the auction. And what was up at immunity? What happened to the ice cream, they never showed (was it Ozzy who won?) eating the ice cream...that would've been fun to watch. Any opinions on the Jonathan/Candice thing?

  • Qualifications for Nursing?

I'm looking at possibly becoming a nurse, and I was wondering who I would write to in a hospital on what kind of qualifications they look for in potential nurses? (I already have a Bachelors in Sociology) I'm thinking maybe ER or pediatric nursing. Any helpful information would be welcome. Thanks so much! (Please no advertisers...I will ignore you...thanks!)

  • Nurse Certification?

I'm thinking of possibly becoming a nurse, but was wondering what kind of education they look for? I have a Bachelors in Sociology. I'd like to maybe work in the ER or in the pediatrics department of the hospital. Is there a certification that I can get that doesn't require much more schooling? Please no advertisers, I won't respond to them, thanks!

  • What is your Christmas Tradition?

Do you have a Christmas Tradition? What is it?

When we were younger, my sister and I would sleep in the same room, then on Christmas morning, we would always wake up at the crack of dawn because we were usually too excited to sleep. My mom, instead of wrapping each of our presents, would set out our presents like a display window with a big piece of cardboard with our names written on it in the middle of our stack so we would know which one was ours. My favorite present I ever got was a barbie dream house. =) Though, when I have kids, I plan on only giving them three presents each as Jesus got when he was a baby which is why we celebrate Christmas in the first place. Thanks for sharing your memory!

  • Starbucks Latte Drinks?

I really enjoy drinking the Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks, and noticed that they have other flavors of Latte for Christmas such as Eggnog and Pumkin pie (or something pumpkin), but I don't like coffee at all, and I was wondering if these had any flavors of coffee in them, or if they didn't? Also, which one is your favorite Christmas one? Thanks!

  • Pre-approved Credit cards?

I keep getting pre-approved credit card offers in the mail. I have pretty low credit and know if I ever try to get one of these, I will probably be denied. Is there anyway to quit getting these in the mail? I'm wearing out my shredder, lol. Thanks!

  • Mid-Life Career Change?

I'm 30 years old, and I had thought about becoming a teacher, but wasn't able to pass the certification test on the first try, and the test is pretty expensive, and financial aid doesn't pay for it. So my next question is, what other ideas can you guys suggest I do with my life? I have a Bachelors in Sociology and don't want to be stuck behind a desk all day. I would love to maybe work in a hospital, but don't really want to go back to school if at all possible for a masters degree (unless the hospital later pays for it lol). Any ideas would be welcome. Please keep it clean, thanks so much!

  • Falling Home Prices?

I am thinking of switching apartments this spring (April), but should I wait another 6 months (at April) and see if home prices drop even further? Maybe by then I might be able to buy a new condo if prices continue to drop. What does everyone think on this and what would you do in this situation? Thanks!

  • After Thanksgiving Sale Shopper?

I was wondering...did you hit a Thanksgiving sale today, if so, where did you shop, what did you buy, if it was for yourself or for a gift, and how early did you go? Just curious. I went to Kohls for clothing items for myself as I had most of my Christmas shopping done already and went about 8am. Lines were moving pretty smoothly though parking was horrible.
