I live in Toronto, Canada. I recently applied for an apartment (a little more than two weeks ago) and gave a one month deposit with my application, but the landlord had some reservations as to approving it, so he requested more information which I faxed, but he still was not convinced so I decided to withdraw my application cuz he was just being unreasonable. The landlord says he will mail me the check whenever I call but he just seems to be doing everything to keep the money with him as long as possible. I gave him the benefit of the doubt on two occasions, but the last time I called confirmed he's just being dishonest.
Now I am thinking about starting a suit against this guy. Do you think it's a good idea and can I expect to win the case easily?

I own a corporation in Toronto, how do I use my inc's money for personal matters w/out giving myself a salary?
Are there any other ways I can use my corporation money for personal purposes and be able to keep a good book without doing it through a payroll account?
I incorporated recently and have around $10000 which I need to use immediately for business and personal reasons. But I don't want to touch it until I know the proper way to do it, of course without having to give myself a salary.
In other words, am I free to transfer money to my personal account as I please throughout the year without getting into problems later.. obviously, I am willing to pay taxes on it at the end of the fiscal year..
