  • Looking for a crochet pattern? It's for an afghan with alternating braids and rings?

I started a blanket a few years ago and never got around to finishing it (was a pretty big undertaking) and now I cannot find the pattern to finish it. It is, I think, what they refer to as a "speed" pattern. It is several long strips that get sewn or crocheted together. Alternating rows are rings and the others are braided rows of z-shaped double crochets with a border. I believe that I did the pattern according to the colors it called for.... a sage green, a hunter green and an off white. The rings are alternating off-white and hunter green and the braids are each one color double crocheted "strands". with an off-white surround. Please? Does anyone have this pattern?

    THANK YOU!!! :)

  • Can you input your weight into a Nordic Track c900?

We recently bought a Nordic Track c 900. We were wondering if it was possible to input your weight into the machine to get a better calorie count (I know they aren't 100% accurate) during our workouts? I didn't find anything in the manual or online. Thanks for your time.

  • Turn signal not working-2002 Chevy Malibu?

    Mechanics or car-savvy people only---please....

My husband has a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu. If it rains, the turn signals won't work and sometimes they randomly don't work. It will, however, occasionally start working if you turn on the flashers then turn the turn signal on, then turn off the flashers. We really don't know where to start and don't want to take it somewhere and get ripped off.

  • Converting audio files...?

I have media files from several sources (cds, transferred from an old computer, etc) and I'm wondering what the best (and most reasonably priced) option is for converting these files to MP3 so I may make several MP3 CDs for long car rides as my CD player in my new car reads MP3 disks. Thanks for your time.

  • Baking: Dipping in chocolate?

Everytime that I try a new recipe that calls for dipping something in chocolate, I can never get the glossy hardened chocolate shell that you see in pictures and at restaurants. The chocolate is always soft or sticky and melts immediately. I've tried using shortening to make it smoother, but it doesn't produce the desired result. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!!

  • Lifehouse song?

I'm curious what this song is. I have searched albums but cannot find it. I'd downloaded it as a ringtone but cannot find the actual song? I know it is Jason Wade's voice and the download was listed under Lifehouse.

It's slow and the lyrics I have on the ringtone are:

So far away from where you are.

These miles apart have torn us worlds apart

    Thank you. :)

    And I miss you...
