To sum it up; Twilight < Harry Potter Self explanitory iPod < Zune While you shouldn't have to be a rocket scientist to operate an MP3 player, fate FORBID that the consumer market be forced to think on how to operate something! Wii < 360/PS3 This is coming from a Wii owner. Pixar < Dreamworks Animation Just a preference .

  • Missing Shutdown Options?

I went to school and connected my laptop to their wireless settings, which disabled my Task Manager and my shut down options, including hibernate, sleep, and shut down. I'm back at home and have signed off of their network, but the shut down options have not come back?

  • Is This a Browser Hack problem?

When I try to log into Google Accounts, it says that the link is invalid.

When I try to search something through Google, the address bar will show that something ending in 'puma (it was datingpuma last week, and insurancepuma today), before taking me to the Google search results, though when I try to click something Google related, I get a 404 page.

It only does this on my HP laptop, not my Compaq desktop.

It does this on both Firefox and Chrome.

  • Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

I know it varies, but if you've gone, what time of day did you visit? I'm hoping to go during a fairly mellow crowd. I was warned that the morning might be hectic.

I'm visiting on the 26th of December.

  • Panama City, Florida?

That's where I'm headed to live for two years...I've lived in the Destin area, but that was nearly seven years ago, and I can't recall ever heading to Panama City.

Is it a nice place? To be honest, the pictures on the Wikipedia page don't suggest so. Racially diverse? Friendly?

They don't seem to have a Barns and Noble. Just throwing that out.

  • Religious commercial things in other countries?

In the US, there are a ton of Christian clothing - many shirts and pants with JESUS in big letters, stuff like "GOD HAS GOT MY BACK" and books to "help be a better Christian" and such.

My question is, do other countries do this with their prominent religious figures? (Besides the Bhudda statues in hairdressers, I don't see many other religious statues or books, but perhaps I'm just not looking in the right places.

  • Barnes and Noble is taking a long time to ship this order?

I ordered four books yesterday morning and got free shipping. I don't order from the company a lot, more from independent booksellers who usually ship promptly. My books still have not been shipped yet. Is it just because of the epic shipping day, or could they be waiting to find all of the books (Which should be far less rare than the other one I mentioned.)?

  • Why is this book so hard to find?

The Mistmantle Chronicles #5; Urchin And The Rage Tide

I can find the first four no problem; I even ordered the fourth several days after it came out with little trouble. But I can't find this one, and it's been out since maybe the 20th of August. None of the major booksellers has it, and Amazon's sellers want $100 for it.

Perhaps I'm being dense and it really hasn't come out in the U.S yet. But if it has, what's with the hiding of it?

  • Degree and Jobs question?

Would a Master of Science in Information Security be able to get a job as a network admin or anything involving networks? There's a course hour (or so) involved in there. I haven't the foggiest idea what that would mean.

Or would it be a better choice to go to ITT Tech and do Information Technology - Computer Network Systems instead of the above choice, which would mean going to Georgia Tech?

I already have 250 hours working in the field. Of networking, I mean, and plan to do more within the month.

Hear that nice, laid-back smooth feel in both of them? That's got to be a part of something awesome.

  • Computer and Wireless Networking compatibility question?

I'm looking into the Gateway SX2840-01 desktop...seems to have nearly everything I'm looking for except one thing; "No Wireless Networking."

What exactly does that mean? I cannot use my wireless router with it? Or that I can (Because I use it for an access point for my wii and DS.) And that the desktop couldn't be part of a WN made up of other desktops/laptops/ect?

It says that there is space to upgrade in it...what could I put in there to make it Wireless Network compatible, or is that a manufacturer thing?

  • How do I save data on my computer after a hard drive disk failure?

It was working this morning (Albeit very slowly), and now I get a Black Screen Of Death and a notice about hard drive disk not found/failure.

I'm trying to save one particular document and about 1000 pictures. The rest can just go.

  • How do you get people to stop watching you on Twitter?

I'm weary of all these random people watching me. I don't want to go private, just delete some of these 'followers'. Is that what the block button does, deletes them from watching me? Or is there another way?

  • Consumer electronics using a router?

Okay, I installed a new wireless router yesterday. When I tried to test it out using my DS, the handheld could find the connection, but the router could never find it. I"m guessing that's because it probably wasn't made to be put into a wireless network so much as simply use a router (the DS). My dad's laptop for work had no problem being found.

The question is, how can I use my DS/Wii for online play if the router isn't able to recognize it? I don't want to disable all of the security locks, but will I have to?

Using a Linksys by Cisco, by the way.

  • How many bags does US Airlines allow?

When I say bags, I mean luggage, not carry ons.

And how many does Delta allow? Because we're going to have to switch from US to Delta halfway.
