visions, miracles, etc. when the last of the original apostles died?10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
If your answer is "no" then you are implying that Jesus committed sin, since He was under the Law and would be breaking the Law by not keeping it.
Could it be that Jesus was teaching and demonstrating HOW to keep the Sabbath the way God had intended in the first place....without the man-made ordinances added to it?14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
(8) Love never fails. But prophecy will pass away. Speaking in languages that had not been known before will end. And knowledge will pass away.
(9) What we know now is not complete. What we prophesy now is not perfect.
(10) But when what is perfect comes, the things that are not perfect will pass away.

why isn't a Messianic, whose mother is a Jew, not considered a Jew?
Is it considered better to live in rebellion to God as a non-practicing Jew, than to love God and serve Him as one who believes the Messiah is Jesus?
I would really like to understand this from the Jewish perspective.
Thank you to all who answer kindly and without derogatory remarks.4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
For Believers who have come to understand the true roots of Christmas, of how it began and what it was really about, do you still celebrate it? If you have chosen not to observe the holiday, how do you address it with family and friends when they ask your plans for Christmas?
Thanks for your input.
be the Jewish Messiah because the Jewish Messiah will be human and God cannot become human.
.........God cannot become human? How big is your God? God can do whatever He wants. Is He limited by the boxes we try to put Him in?
Ecclesiastes 8:3 Don't be quick to leave his presence, and don't persist in doing what is wrong, for he does whatever he pleases.
Dan 4:35 All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him, 'What have you done?'3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
Exodus 12:23 -
(23) For the LORD will pass through to strike Egypt, and when he sees the blood on the top of the doorframe and the two side posts, then the LORD will pass over the door, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you.
Isaiah 54:16 -
"See, I made the blacksmith. He fans the fire to make it hotter, and he makes the kind of tool he wants. In the same way I have made the destroyer to destroy.
