My neighbor recently got installed solar panels on his roof top. Do you know who is installing these systems?
My neighbor told me that he did not pay anything rather its all covered by some green initiative. He also told me that he is getting paid $200/month. I look around and found there are many more houses (10 - 12) in the neighborhood with these installations. He did not tell me the company or program name. Anybody knows whom I can approach for more information in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario?3 AnswersGreen Living1 decade ago
What is the best practice to hook devices (DVD, Satallite, VCR), Plasma TV & home theater receiver.?
1) Should I be running seperate cables to the plasma from DVD, Satallite receiver and VCR (I've to run component cables from DVD & sat receiver - and composite vedio cable from VCR because thats is what the output of my devices) and audio cables from these devices to Yamaha HTR6050 receiver.
2) The 2nd option is to run component and composite cables from devices to the reciever and then run single cable from Yamaha receiver to plasma TV. My plasma tv has one 29-pin DVI input where as Yahama receiver has 1 HDMI output (I'm assuming I can find HDMI to DVI cable ...) In this case I think I've to run seperate audio cable from yamaha receiver to TV and then from receiver to home theater speakers.
Has anybody done research on such things earlier? Which option will give me better picture quality? My TV is 50'' plasma with native resolution of 1366x768

I personaly feel its not as select does not generate any transaction/redo logs and can not be rolled back. But many books says Select comes under DML command set.2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade ago
