My home AC fuse box, out by the compressor, has an ON OFF pull kill, 2 black, 2 White and 2 ground wires. Taking a multi-meter to a set of black and white wires yields about 85V. No matter which pair. Is this an issue?
My thermostat has a Y1 and Y2 wire... I assume this to be cooling stage 1 and 2. Touching the thermostat red wire to either Y1 or Y2 does nothing (AC doesn't come on).
Testing the circuit breaker yields close to 240V.

The goal is ONLY to have 2 computers ping each other. They are connected to a switch. That is it... no Internet, no sharing of folders, just want to ping each other.
How do I set up IP to accomplish this?
I tried 192.168.0.1 and 255.255.255.0 on one and .2 on the other with no avail.
I have rotated through 3 known working switches.14 AnswersComputer Networking5 years ago
We made 2 dozen hard boiled eggs. They are very difficult to peel using traditional methods. Any life-hacks on peeling difficult eggs? I don't want to learn the proper way to make them... they are already made. Need to know how to peel them.

I have a chain that weighs 5lb/ft. It is 50ft long.
The chain is suspended by a winch so that it is just touching the ground... thus it is being held up 50ft.
I wish to wind the chain up half way.
Does this require 4,687.5 ft-lb of work?
Thanks... just checking my answer.1 AnswerMathematics6 years ago
Just looking for the answer so I may check... no "how to" please.
The base of a solid is bound by y=ln(x+3), y=0 and x=10. The solid is formed by taking cross-sections perpendicular to the y-axis in the shape of equilateral triangles..

In our school the "news" is fed via a coax cable to some really huge ceiling mounted TVs.
A few years later we install ceiling mounted projectors to use with Smartboards.
We'd like to push the coax signal into the projector. The VGA connection is being used by the laptop computer.
All we have available for input is an S-video jack and audio jack.
