Would it be fair to say most current day Gibraltarians are of British, Spanish and Maltese heritage ?
A lot of Gibraltars look a mixture of Spanish and British, after 300 years of British occupation I would expect most Gibraltarians to have at least one British ancestor.
Not only that, their mannerisms seem very British.1 AnswerLanguages7 months ago
I have noticed a lot of terrace houses built in just in the UK at the turn of 20th century have extensions built at the back. These seem to be built later on as the brickwork on these houses is sometimes a different colour.
I'm guessing many of these houses were extended around the 50 or 60's?3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 months ago
How different is high german and low german, I'm trying to gauge how mutually intelligible both of these dialects are, for example I'm from the midlands in England and I can understand someone speaking with a Scottish accent and understand lowland Scots quite well.
Would this be a fair comparison?3 AnswersLanguages10 months ago
