I am a 28 year old mother of 3. I have a 5 year old girl, a 2 and a half year old boy, and a 3 week old baby girl. Before this pregnancy I lost a baby at almost 20 weeks to a surprise pregnancy because I found out about it at 9 weeks. Our last baby was very much planned but I was stressed out the wholepregnancy. Always fearing something bad was gonna happen then the whole COVID thing happened. I am sure Indont want any more kids as I think 3 is more than enough and also I DO NOT want any more surprises in the future, but every time I talk it over with family members they tell me I am way too young and what if I ever want another one in the future and it gets me thinking even though I do not want any more children at the moment what if I DO change my mind. I am supposed to talk it over with my OB at my 6 week checkup and Idk what to do.
Anyone else has had they're tubes tied at a young age and been perfectly ok afterwards?7 AnswersPregnancy2 months ago
So my 2 year old developed a skin rash today that started near his bottom area. I though it was a diaper rash even though he is potty trained and wint go on his trainer. I kept checking and he had some on his legs but only like patches not all over the legs. Called his Dr and because he had a cold in the last 2 days they wont see him. They are setting up a video call u till tomorrow but tonight when I was bathing him I found that he has some on the upper part of his body and face too. I'm worried it could be something like measles or chicken pox. He doesnt have a fever and he hasnt had one either, no diarrhea or vomiting. They also come bumpy then disappear and then he gets them on other spots. It is so weird. Like I said they're not all over his body either. Any idea what could be?1 AnswerSkin Conditions3 months ago
I am a mother of 2 and currently preggo with my 4th pregnancy. Our 3rd pregnancy ended when we found that our baby had no heartbeat at our 18 week checkup. I remember with my first I started feeling the movements around 20 weeks which is pretty normal for a new mom. With my second I started feeling movement around 16 weeks and with my 3rd pregnancy I started at around 14 weeks. Now I realized a day before we found out about our lost that baby hadn't been moving and this time I havent really felt baby move. I am 15 weeks and sometimes I feel some flutter but it's not every day and I dont even know if it is the baby or maybe ga(I've had a lot of gas this pregnancy sorry TMI)
Dont know it its normal that I felt the last 2 earlier but not this one.6 AnswersPregnancy8 months ago
I am currently 14 weeks preggo with my 4th pregnancy, and I've been looking into buying a fetal doppler to monitor my babys heartbeat. All this comes after our 3rd pregnancy ended at 18 weeks after our baby boy's heart suddenly stopped beating. Needless to say this whole pregnancy I've been very stressed out and the bigger tha baby gets the more I worry about the same thing happening, my next appointment is in 4 weeks, and even though we need all the testing for chromosomal abnormalities and Have had like 7 ultrasounds saying everything is Ok I cant shake this feeling of always fearing that something could go wrong. Now the last time I was lucky they found out within a week of my baby's passing and no infection was developed but I'm just scared to not find out and getting sick. I have read good things about dopplers but also bad things and I dont know if it'll just stress me out even more to have one.
Any experiences of someone getting one either good or bad ones would help.5 AnswersPregnancy8 months ago
I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and this morning when I wiped I had this discharge. It doesnt look brown or yellow to me it's like in between. I had had it at 8 weeks and baby was fine. Both times its happened exactly 2 days after I had intercourse. The last time it stopped almost right away and this time it looks like there is no more. Both times there is some cramping. I dont know if I should call my OB I was just there 2 days ago because I though I had an infeccion but everything came back normal, they performed an ultrasound and baby was perfectly fine. Anyone has experienced this?.. by the way this is baby #3 and with my first I had some spotting between 5 and 9 weeks but never this far along. With my second I had mo bleeding at all.3 AnswersPregnancy9 months ago
I had a misscarriage about 6 months ago. It was very traumatic because I was already 18 weeks and 5 days when we found out our baby boy's heart stopped beating. I have 2 healthy children a 5 and 2 year old so that would have been baby number 3 for us. We were super exited, planning gender reveal, all of our friends and family knew. We decided to try again since the testing didnt show anything that stopped us from trying and my OB said I was perfectly healthy. I am now 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant with our rainbow baby but I cant shake the feeling that something is gonna go wrong. Unlike my last pregnancy in which I had a lot of bleeding during the first trimester I have had no bleeding at all this pregnancy babys heartbeat is perfect and we even saw baby move already. But as the pregnancy progresses I am more and more nervous that we will go through the same thing. I get a little cramping and I start to freak out, I get weird discharge and I freak out. I cant help it, even though everything has been reassuring this time I am always scared.
Is this normal?
Anyone gone through this that found a way to get through the fear?
I love this baby so much, but in a way I feel like its stopping me from fully connecting this time.
Any help would be appreciated.9 AnswersPregnancy9 months ago
I had a misscarriage in July, and after spending some time with my OB he said I was ready to try again. This was my first misscarriage after 2 successful pregnancies. I've taking prenatals this whole time, so we started trying again and to our surprise I got pregnant on the first try. We were really excited as well as worried because of the past experience we had. Today I went in for my first OB check up and he does an ultrasound at 6 weeks, according to my last menstrual period ( 8/25/19) I would be exactly 6 weeks today and in the ultrasound clearly showed a gestational sac but no yolk sack yet. It also showed some internal bleeding that my OB said was the implantation bleeding and he wasnt worried about it at all. I am having no vaginal bleeding at all, a little cramping but nothing bad. Now my OB ordered lab work to see my levels and try to determine the gestational age, he said since I had a misscarriage most likely my cycles are not regular yet and I could be earlier than I thought, and he scheduled another ultrasound for this Friday. I am really nervous and have thinking about it all day.
Anyone has experienced this before and then gone on to have a normal pregnancy?Pregnancy10 months ago
I had a misscarriage 2 months ago and I was cleared by my OB to start trying this past month after I got my first period on 8/24. We are now trying again to get pregnant, but so far I havent gotten my period. It is day 30th today and still nothing. I've been gettin mild cramping for the past 3 or 4 days but I have had the same cramping with my 2 successful pregnancies and my misscarriage. I am hoijg nuts right here because I dont want to take a pregnancy test too son and have it not read the hormone levels, but I dont know what my cycle would be as I havent gotten a second period.1 AnswerPregnancy11 months ago
So we recently had a very painful missed miscarriage, I was 18 weeks along and our baby boy's heart just stopped beating. I had to get throught an induction process that was emotionally painful. Still I want to try again in a couple months, I already have two kids under 5 and we didnt actually plan our 3rd pregnancy but it did make me realize that I was another kid. While I understand that I can't put my body through pregnancy again so soon I want to wait about 4-6 months to try again and prepare my body since the last time I didnt take any prenatals or vitamins before getting pregnant. My husband on the other side wants to wait 2-3 years to try again. I feel like this is too much time for me but I dont know how to tell him. I've already expressed my desire to try to get pregnant againin that time frame but he's even told me that we dont actually need another kid because we already have 2. He is the BEST Man in the world, he was so supportive tthrough the whole process and he always made sure that I was Ok, he took care of me and the kidsfor the first 2 weeks. I can't imagine going through something like this with someone else. But I think he's also scared that it will happen again, I don't know how to talk to him and state that I don't want to wait years to get pregnant again wothout hurting him.

I am a mother of a 5 year old and a 20 month old, I was recently pregnant with my 3rd but unfortunately right at the 18 week mark we had an ultrasound and our baby boy s heart had stopped. It was a horrible experience since I had to deliver him due to the pregnancy being a little more advanced. Its been 2 weeks since then and today I had an OB appoinment, when the OB asked me if I was planning to get pregnant again I responded yes but the plans are in about 5 or 6 months. So he recomended to go on birth control for the months in which teying to avoid getting pregnant. Ge prescribed the Lo Loestrin 28. So my question is.. Should I really put my body through birth control if Im gonna be trying in 5 to 6 months?... Will it hurt my chances of getting pregnant when I do decode to try?..
I have never been through something like this before, with my other 2 kids I was off birth control.
I wojld love to hear experiences of anyone trying to conecive after birth control.4 AnswersPregnancy1 year ago

Ok, so I ve been exclusively breastfeeding for 8 months now and I plan to breastfeed until my son is 1 year old. I am probably getting ahead of myself but I m curious because with my 4 year old daughter I supplemented since she was about a month old and I started working when she was 7 months. By the time she turned 1 I had unintentionally been replacing feeding times slowly so my boobs didn t hurt, my daughter didn t suffer( she actually didnt want to nurse anymore). Withbmybson on the other hand I fear that it s going to be a little harder, especially because I had mastitis 4 months after giving birth, I just produce too mich milk with him so I m scared that if I start to replace freadings in will get mastitis since it seems to want to come back every now and then but I use the gel pad and I pump when that happens, so of in replace feedings I d end up pumping anyway. I still dont plan to give him formula until hes 1. How would you guys do it without getting mastitis again?4 AnswersNewborn & Baby2 years ago
I am a mother of a 3 year old and I have a 10 day old right now. With my oldest I couldn t fully breastfeed mainly because I was never able to pump enough to store. But with this one I really just want to exclusively breastfeed, I just don t really j ow how the pumping and storing works. I breastfed my oldest until she was 1 and supplemented with formula, but like I said it was mainly because I couldn t pump. Any advice?6 AnswersNewborn & Baby3 years ago
