  • I have a question about domain and range in math....?

When a ball is thrown upward off a bridge, its height, h, in metres, is given by h(t)=-5t^2+20t+15, where t is the number of seconds after it is thrown.

State the domain and range for this situation.

I have NO idea whatsoever how to do this.... I am just so confused. I know that domain is x values and range is y values, but I don't know how to get those out of the equation. I would really appreciate any help.

    Thanks

  • How would I solve this trigonometry question?

A guy wire that is 29 m long is attached to a cell phone tower. The angle formed by the guy wire and the ground is 51 degrees. Determine the height of the cell phone tower.

(the triangle is constructed of a 90 degree angle, a 51 degree angle, and an unknown angle with one side at 29 m).

If someone could explain to me how to get to the answer, I'd really appreciate it...10 points best answer:)

    Thanks

  • How would I solve this trigonometry question?

    1. For a ladder to be stable, the angle that it makes witht he ground should be no more than 78 degrees and no less than 73 degrees. If the base of a ladder is 6.00 m long is placed 1.70 m from a wall, will the ladder be stable? Explain.

    2. A tree that is 7.2 m tall casts a shadow that is 2.9 m long. What is the angle of elevation of the Sun?

I would really really appreciate it if someone could show me how to get to the answer... Like a step-by-step process. 10 points best answer, I promise:)

  • why wont my ipod play all of my music??

so I can download music to my ipod and it appears in the music app, but most of the songs just won't play. They jump to the next song. And some have a little red stop sign beside them, but if I touch it, the song title just turns grey. HELP????? I have absolutely no idea what to do, and apple support is apparently closed. Also, a lot of the albums that I sync to my ipod appear under either 'various artists' or under 'albums' only, not artists. Does anyone know why?

    Thanks

What would be a non-stereotypical alternative to the phrase: don't judge a book by its cover. AND: appearances can be deceptive.
