My family was just sitting in a taxi...my mom asked if we ate anything on the plane. My sister didnt respond. She then later she told me that she didnt respond bc she was anxious. Am i just being insensitive in thinking that anxiety doesnt limit someone from responding to a simple question from their parents? I get that anxiety can be present in absence of something to make you anxious...but i feel like its rude to use it as an excuse to blatantly ignore people talking to you?? Please explain if im seeing this incorrectly2 AnswersMental Health7 months ago

While preparing to administer an IV medication that is compatible only with normal saline, the nurse observes that the patient is receiving an infusion of D5 ½ normal saline. Which is the most appropriate nursing intervention?
a. Administer the IV medication because the IV line has half-normal saline mixed with the D5W.b. Flush the IV line with normal saline before the medication is administered, administer the medication, and then restart the infusion at the same rate.c. Flush the IV line with normal saline before and after administering the IV medication.d. Insert a new IV line because the medication is incompatible with dextrose.Medicine1 year ago

I had shin splints that started about 2 weeks ago and was getting a stiff pain in my Achilles when I was running...I've stopped training because running would leave me in tears.
since then...my shin sometimes hurts when I walk but the outside of my ankle (behind the bone sticking out) hurts all the time. Mainly when I'm walking but sometimes when I'm just sitting3 AnswersRunning3 years ago
