I love music. And God. If you have any questions about either, I'll try to answer!

  • The third part to my collection: Everything?

It is a song, so these are only the lyrics. Live with it.

    I’m a dancer, I’m a singer

    I’d do anything for you

    I’m a writer and a fighter

All to make your dreams come true

All my dreams have fallen skyward

I won’t let them get away

I will face the fears that bind me

And have brought me here today

    Oh, and what’dya know

    I’m not letting go

The love which I have found

    Is keeping me around

In order to leave this place

    It’d take everything I have

    What else can I say

To make you feel the same

Just to be in your presence

    I’d give everything I am

Oh, my heart may be misguided

All my thoughts have gone astray

Yet I don’t need to be reminded

Why I’ve come to feel this way

I strive to be so perfect

To be noticed in your eyes

And still every time I see you

    I am taken by surprise

    My heart is my guide

And my soul is my own

But now you are the light

    That’s gonna bring me home

    All my selfish jurisdictions

And my cautious slight of hand

    Is blown away

    And gone with the wind…

  • What do you fear most?

What do you fear in general?

(As for me, the future, large insects and arachnids, loud beeping noises, and the unknown. Especially what happens after death. What do you think?)

  • Hi, I need history books on Ireland?

I am writing a historical fiction novel that is set in Ireland. The thing is, I'm American, so I have no idea about what it would have been like. Anyony know of any books that could help me?

  • What makes a good book?

What do you look for in a book that you read? Characters that breathe, a setting that pulls you in, vivid plot, gory scenes, a hint of historical background, an eerie prediction of the future? What is that little element of a good book that lights your fire?

  • On writing forums, less successful writers say that JKRowling is a terrible writer but shes not. Why say that?

Is it because they believe that their writing is better and yet it hasn't been published? Is that what it is: jealousy? Because Harry Potter is actually pretty good.

  • I'm curious: how do writers publish short stories?

Do they get a bunch of short stories and publish them in a collection? (I'm referring to really short stories, around a page long.)

  • Writers: Respond in one sentence to this statement:?

"I was simply wandering around. I wasn't stealing this horse from the barn or anything."

You can use the voice of any character you want. Unique is best!

  • Help! I think I have consumtion!?

Okay that was just to get your attention but this is serious. I am thinking about voice and how it changes with your mood. I need everyone to say something that really depresses me, since I'm at a really depressing point in my story. And I am not exactly depressed, since I came up with that awesome title. Any ideas?

  • Who agrees that the world is biased against young writers and creative people?

I am a 14 year old writer and I actually think I have some pretty good stuff. I think that the rest of my school is rediculous and the books in the teens section at the book store are rediculous. I have distinct ideas about the world, and I often feel highly underappriechiated by my peers, teachers, and other adults around me. Do you, as an individual or as a writer, have an opinion about being treated as a not-smart child versus a young adult?

  • DOES he LiKe Me?

Okay, I'm a freshman, he's a junior. I was at the orchestra concert last night. We are both in orchestra at our schools (we know each other from church, and I've wondered if he likes me before because he always smiles at me and stuff when were talking.) So after I played my stuff, I went up and sat in the balconey, and then I noticed him, and he noticed me, and he kept looking up at me (note that I kept looking down at him.) While he was on stage he sometimes looked up at me as well. However, after he was done playing and everyone was applauding, he did not look at me as far as I know. Does he like me? And for that matter, do I like him?

  • My Sunday School class isn't very friendly?

I think that they judge me way too harshly. I feel like I am not free to be myself when I am at church. Lately I have taken to reading and analyzing portions of the Bible instead of church on Sunday mornings.

I often think that they are not very serious at church; during our fall retreat, they wanted to blow off Bible study and go have fun. I feel like I am the only one who actually goes to church to be with God.

However, I do not want to stop going to my church. I like the progrms, just not the kids. What do I do? (Please, no Christian bashing)

  • Having issues with ideas?

I am trying to write a short story. It is about a girl who is 9-11 who runs away from her really bad home to find either her mother or father. Past that I'm stuck. Help me! writer's block has me! Or, to be politically correct, I've got myself!

  • God created men in his likeness?

What do you think it means?

I think it means that humans can think, that we have feelings, that we judge others by whether they are doing good or bad, that we create stuff, that we love stuff. Furthermore, that we view society on three levels: as a whole or in groups of people (the Father), as friend or a personal level (the Son) and that we relate to ourselves and to others through our similarities (the Holy Spirit). What do you think?

    No Christianity bashing, please.

  • Highly personal question?

And I would get kicked off the religion forum with this, so...

If I write a book, and create characters, will they exist in some kind of alternate universe?

  • Do I have a chance of eventually publishing?

Okay, this is the rough draft, uneditted version of the prologue for my first book. Please look at it, tell me what you think about voice, characterization, character appearance and descriptions, setting. Please be brutally honest and don't be cruel. You will need to be specific to be a best answer.

Rorgan Chamun was not happy. He was not happy at all.

As he sat in his desk chair, he lounged, rereading the letter. Why didn’t they tell him these things earlier? A banquet that night? Him as guest host? He drew out a quill and quickly scribbled a note, apologizing to The King and Queen of Elocin for being unable to attend, due to too late of notice. There, that ought to let them know that he did not… appreciate being left in the dark.

Forget that. A silly formal event was not what he should focus on as future King of Elocin. Not yet at least. There were plans to be made, jobs to be given out…

He stood, then attempted to reach the office door. Attempted, because of huge mounds of
