  • Am I thin enough to be a teen model?

    I'm 13, 5'2.5 / 159cm. I'll leave a pic of myself underneath. Do you think I would be thin enough to be a child / teen models (i won't be offended) x

  • If I get a tetanus shot after being infected will it kill the tetanus infection? (Urgent)?

I have severe anxiety so my parents thought I may be kind of "imagining" it but they took me to our local doctors surgery and I was given the tetanus shot. Now, about 4 hours later, I still feel off, my neck is still sore and slightly stiff and my jaw and cheek muscles feel slightly stiff. Will the shot have killed the tetanus or will it not make a difference since the infection was probably contracted before I got the shot? Please give me an answer as I'm beginning to panic majorly. (I should add that the nurse at my local doctors surgery said she didn't think I had tetanus because of how small the "wound" was, if you can even call it a wound)

  • Small dog bite, do I need tetanus shot?

My dog bit me (a tiny tiny bite, punctured skin and bled for a little bit afterwords but the actual bite is the size of a pin prick, one on each side of my finger) yesterday. Do I need a tetanus shot? I'm a hypochondriac so I panick about these things. I felt a bit dizzy today and my jaw felt weird but I don't know if I'm imagining it... show more

  • How much extra weight would clothes and food add? (Will choose best answer)?

If I got weighed in a school uniform (shirt , tie, skirt and tights) and had eaten breakfast (1 banana, 2 weetabix , 100ml milk and 200ml orange juice, and also hadn't had a bowel movement since the day before (and had a meal at dinner and something else later on before bed that night) how much extra weight would this all add to my actual... show more

For example if I weighed 100lbs, what would likely show up? Like would it add an extra 2lbs? 3lbs? Please answer, thanks

  • If I eat the amount I should be eating to maintain my weight everyday and overeat one day a week, will I gain weight in the long run?

For example, if ate roughly 2000 calories (the amount I'm supposed to eat in a day to maintain my weight) every day except Saturday when I ate 2500-3000 , would I eventually gain weight or would it balance out in the next week or I'd burn the excess off in the next week?

  • Is 2000 calories daily too much for a 12 year old girl at 5ft 2 and 87lbs?

She's fairly active, walks the dog everyday, does PE at school, and often does callisthenic type exercises at home. Does this seem like a good amount of calories? Just as a rough estimate?

  • Do I have an eating disorder? What do I do now?

I'm supposed to eat between 1700-2100 calories and I've been eating roughly 1300-1500 so I don't know how I'm losing weight. I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I just want to be normal again without always counting calories and worrying about food. I want to eat a normal amount of calories again but I don't want to gain weight again. Ugh, what do I do? I'm so stressed about the whole thing

  • How have I gained 2 pounds?

I was previously eating 1500 calories but I was losing 1.5 pounds every week like that so I added 500 calories per day and ate 2000 a day. I kept exercising the same. Trouble is, I could never bring it up to 2000 eating normally, so by the end of the day I only had around 1200, and would have to bring it up to 2000 with high calorie foods like donuts and Oreos. My dad told me that it doesn't matter WHAT you eat, what matters is the calories (when your talking about weight) so I ate like this for 4 days. I then weighed myself at the end of the week and it turns out I had gained two pounds. I'm very disappointed and don't understand how this could have possibly happened. I weighed myself the morning after I had eaten a donut, a chocolate yogurt, lots of water , some iced coffee and four Oreos and I had gained 2lbs. Went about my day and then weighed myself again expecting the food from the night before to be gone from my system but I was still 2 pounds heavier. when I weighed myself the second time, all I had eaten in the last eight hours was : A bowl of granola and milk A Slice of toast A large glass of water A small bowl of chicken noodle soup And I was completely naked. How have I gained 2lbs? Is it water retention from the carbs? Is it from the food I had eaten? Or did I really gain that weight? Very confused , can someone explain?
