Have some vacation to use up before the end of November. Trying to find the best last minute deal on a cruise.4 AnswersCruise Travel9 years ago
A large % of the questions in the travel section are from people asking relocation questions. Any chance to get a new category generated - "relocating" with sub categories under it similar to travel - country/state(city)?4 AnswersYahoo Answers10 years ago
I'm in the market for a camcorder to take on a vacation this summer. I expect to mostly record family activities, but also I'm expecting fantastic scenery (going to British Columbia). Is an HD camera ($700ish) going to be that much better than a standard camera ($300)?
I would be watching the playback on an HD (1080P) TV if that makes a difference.3 AnswersCamcorders1 decade ago
I'm in the US, but Yahoo defaults to Yahoo Canada. i.e. ca.answers.yahoo.com.
I suspect it's because the network I'm on probably connects to the Internet in Canada. My employers Internet connection. Is there a setting change that can be made that will take me to the US Yahoo.3 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products1 decade ago
I recently saw someone that had a top contributor tag in the computer and internet category, level 2 with 20 best answers and has only 85 questions answered?
How does that happen?2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade ago
Got this weird thing happening with Vista and Outlook 2007. Sometimes when I try to start Outlook I just get the hourglass spin, then nothing happens. No error message ....... just the blank stare from the desktop wallpaper.
If I bring up task manager, there are three instances of Outlook running. Killing them will enable Outlook to start normally.
I'm running Vista SP1. MS Office is up to date according to the MS updates web site.
Any ideas? Is this a known issue?5 AnswersSoftware1 decade ago
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. Two weird things are happening with it -
1. The mouse has a mind of it's own. Sometimes the mouse just freezes for anywhere from a couple seconds to 30-45 seconds, then works normal again.
2. Other problem is that it sometimes boots to a blank (black) screen with just a rectangular white shape blinking on and off in the upper right corner. If I boot it into safe mode or diagnostic mode then reboot normal it will come up normally so far. The problem is intermittent, so getting it to occur with regularity is impossible. When this happens the Windows Vista splash screen doesn't appear, just the Dell splash screen, then nothing.

On every pass play in the second half Romo was hurried and/or ended up on his back. Why that hate for Jessica?14 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade ago
I'd like to get a digital picture frame for someone who is a bit technically challenged. Having capabilities like wifi or the ability to go get pictures off the Internet are not practical in this case, the frame will be in an environment where it won't be technically possible. I just need one that a bunch of pictures can be put on a memory card - stick it in and it goes. It needs to be easy to operate - any recommendations for good vs bad? Please don't point me at a web site unless it's for a specific model - I'm looking for replys from people with first hand experience.
If you have one and hate it or love it - that is what I'm trying to find out.4 AnswersCameras1 decade ago
