  • Any testimonials about AHEADD?

My daughter is doing a research paper on the organization AHEADD (Achieving in Higher Education with Autism/Developmental Disabilities) and is having a hard time finding testimonials. We've searched a few websites, but would like to know from a person who has first hand knowledge. Do you have any?

  • What is the purpose or reason for a Junior Bride?

My fiancée wants her niece to be the Junior Bride (a miniature version of her). The Junior Bride is different from a Junior Bridesmaid; she dresses exactly like the bride.

I have heard it may be a Hispanic wedding tradition. Also that it is usually the child of either the groom or bride, or plays a significant part of the couple's life. Her niece is not part of our life. My fiancée has expressed that there is no particular reason for her niece to be a Junior Bride, other than it was a "good idea". My fiancée did not raise her niece nor has a bond beyond the normal aunt-niece, and her niece's mom is already the Maid of Honor. I say make her an usher, tea girl, or Junior Bridesmaid. No, the bride does not get the final word, because I am getting married also; it is OUR day! I am very involved with the wedding planning, as much if not more than she is.

  • Why are we still debating about OJ Simpson's guilt?!?

On October 3, 1995, Simpson was found not guilty of two murders. On February 4, 1997, a civil jury in Santa Monica, California found Simpson liable for their wrongful death. Is he guilty or innocent? Who knows?

What I do know is that our courts have made a decision and it has been upheld for at least 9 years. I can sense the racial disharmony from many of you reading this. If you're anti-OJ, well prove his guilt via the judicial system; quit wasting our time in the court of public opinion. If you are pro-OJ, quit the jubilation; 3 families have been ruined. We have many unsolved murders in American history; the death of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Simpson are among them. So are the deaths of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, JonBenet Ramsey, Marilyn Sheppard, the Black Dahlia, Pre & Post Civil War lynchings, so-called "outside agitators" during the Civil Rights movement, and most importantly the TRUTH.

So please educate me; tell me again why are we still debating about OJ?

  • Can you recommend a good program to catalog and price my comic book collection?

The time has come to liquidate my comic book collection. Unfortunately, my ex-wife has my old catalog and will not return it; an old Lotus Approach program anyways. Well I am upgrading to wife 3.0 and need cash for the wedding. So I am selling the comics. Problem is I haven't collected in like 7 years and have a slew of books (do ask how many, ' cause I don't know). I want to sell them all, but need to catalog and price them before sale.

I am already strapped for cash, so price is an issue.

Does anyone know a good program or website that can help me to catalog and price my comic books?

  • Why answer questions [on Yahoo! Answers] that already have an answer?

Is it about the 2 pts or the much valued 10 pts? I need at least two complete sentences for an answer.

I'll sate your quest for the treasured long as I do not get the same rhetorical rhetoric

Please refrain from the childish responses or "hmm, good question". Remember TOS, because I do...

  • Why ask a questions you already know the answer to?

Are we looking for validation or confirmation? Or is it truly a thirst for knowledge? Well why do YOU?
