  • Disk read error?

I was using my computer when suddenly it froze and when i started it up again i got the "A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart". My first action was to test the RAM using Memtest. After 15 passes i figured the RAM is perfectly fine. My theory is that the hard drive is no longer communicating with the motherboard however i fail to see why. I have taken the computer apart but there is no sign of clear physical damage.

What could the problem be? And how could i fix it?

My computer is a 14" Acer Aspire 5742

  • Calculating pH?

How would I calculate the pH of 0.20mol/L solution of NH4C2H3O2?

    Ka of HC2H3O2 = 1.8 x 10^-5

    Kb of NH3 = 1.8 x 10^-5

*Final answer should be 7.00 but I can't seem to get there unless I'm missing something obvious

  • How do I upgrade my Android?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II GT-S7560M phone that currently runs Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). I would like to update my OS to either Jellybean or KitKat. When I scan my phone to check for any updates it will scan and say "No update available". There's nothing wrong with my Internet connection or anything. Is there any other way of updating my phone? Anything would be appreciated.

  • How do you remove the fuel tank in a 2002 Buick Century Custom?

I've heard people say that I can access the fuel tank from inside the car but I'm having trouble seeing how.

I'm removing it because I'm trying to fix the "Service Engine Soon" light on my dash and I've heard that the problem could be my fuel pressure sensor. I don't necessarily need to take out the fuel tank, I just need access to that sensor. Also, I've already replaced the vent solenoid and that didn't work.

  • Service Engine Soon Light?

I need to turn off the 'service engine soon' light on my 2002 Buick Century (Custom V6). I used a scan tool which told me is was the canister vent solenoid(the code was P0446). I replaced the part, cleared the code, drove it around step by step to replace the code, however he light came back on with the P0446 code and I'm not sure what I should do to fix it.
