  • Whats the best way to do accounting for an ebay business ?

Hi all I setup an ebay business 2 months ago and was doing my accounts using excel spreadsheets.

However in the last 3 weeks my sales have exploded to the point I can no longer keep up with amount of sales daily and thanks to some good marketing I can't see this ending. I was averaging 10 sales a day when I first started but that average is now into the 100 mark.

With that been the case using a spreadsheet and entering each sale manually is no longer an option as I don't have enough time in the day to do it.

i have a full time job as well as other commitments and most of the time dedicated to the business is put into shipping.

I am also in the process of becoming a limited company and looking at hiring a bookeeeper/accountant.

I would like some ideas on what others are doing with there online business's and what is the best way of doing this as I am a novice with bookkeeping and accounting.

    Any answers really appreciated.

  • What is the best trade to go into at the moment in the UK ? Plumbing, gas HGV mechanic ?

Hi all I’m looking at going back to college next year to learn a new trade at the age of 26 but I don’t really know what I want to do. I’ve looked into doing plumbing and gas but the only reason I want to do it is because of the money and I want to have my own business eventually.

I have a keen interest in mechanics and have my level 1 NVQ in motor vehicle repair that I did 9 years ago. The problem from what I see mechanics even in the commercial sector like HGV’s don’t make much money, correct me if i’m wrong.

I am considering going back into mechanics but I know the possibility’s of having my own business would be more difficult in this sector.

If anyone experienced could give me some feedback would be great.

  • Getting a HGV job with a DR 10?

Hi all I need an answer regarding this question.

Basically I got banned for drink driving in 2011 in which I was extremely sorry for. I have now done my 5 year probationary period and my insurance has come right down.

But the DR 10 stays on your licence for 11 years which will be 2022 so would I be able to apply for a HGV job then once I done my licence of course and it has been removed.

There's no definite answer on this around the net so anyone who knows would be gratefully appreciated.

Also as mentioned above I was sorry and learnt a valuable lesson from the mistakes I made when I was younger.

  • A cheaper alternative to coil over suspension ?

My vauxhall astra van is due for mot soon and it has been lowered on coil overs by the previous owner when i bought it 2 years ago.

However the drivers side front has become damaged and will need replacing but the price of them is quite steep plus i dont know if I want coils back on the van as the ride is quite rough especially if you hit something in the road feels like your spine and teeth will break.

Somebody mentioned to me having standard shocks put on with lowering springs or sport suspension but I am torn whether to just get a new car which i dont really want to do due to the van being a 1 of a kind.

If anyone has any advice on what would be a good suspension setup to take would be really beneficial.

    Thanks

  • Do I have a damaged coilover?

I have just been inspecting my car and have found that the drivers side front wheel is covered in grease and oil. After looking around the area ive seen that the coilover is covered in oil as well.

I dont know much about coilovers but I have checked my CV joint and boot and there fine with the coilover the only culprit.

    Any answers welcome

  • Starting a new life somewhere?

Well where to begin I'm 24 years old and I'm bored and fed up with my life.

Over the last few months I've been feeling down and depressed my life has changed as my father left home and left me and my brother to look after our mum. I'm in a dead beat job that I hate and I feel as if the excitement has gone from my life.

Most of this has come about for 2 reasons my age and that my mates in my circle have nearly all settled down now. 3 have kids and married and my best mate is having a kid at 23. I would like to say I'm not jealous over them but it's made me realise that the friends I thought I knew when we had all these big plans and adventures we were going to do are no longer the same people.

I want to live my life to the full and see the world meet new people dance with hot women you know just the usual stuff lol. I've been contemplating leaving my home, my town, my family and friends and doing what I want to do which is live the life I want to live.

I know I've rambled on a bit but I don't know where to start or what to do. I feel bad wanting to leave all my friends but it's like you only live once and we're no longer on the same wave length anymore it's just all kids, mortgages and family's they want to do.

If I were to leave it would be to another city or country I've even been looking to find work on cruise ships or bar work and stuff.

It would be great to hear from people who have done it or who can relate on here but any answers very welcome.

  • Fixing head gasket?

Well my head gasket has blown on my Vauxhall astra van and wanted to know apart from taking it a garage is there anything else i could do.

I have been told that there is a foam or some kind of liquid that helps to seal it that you can buy but not sure. While it may be a temporary fix if it works ill take it.

If not i was considering buying all the parts and doing it myself as the cost is playing a big factor in the repair.

    Any advice is welcome thanks.

  • Adrian flux cancellation of policy?

Ive got myself in a bit of a pickle ive just today took out a policy with flux for my modified astra van but i am now regretting the descion after hearing horror storys of there company and i didnt realise that the company i am currently with (brentachre) allow you to add cosmetic mods with no extra charge😳.

My cover with flux doesnt start for another 3 days could i cancel and get my deposit back or what.

I went with them because they were cheaper than my renewel quote by £100 but brentachre have been fantastic and im thinking of just paying the extra £100 for there good service.

And yes i know i should of read the reviews first but the pound signs got the better of me

  • Which supplement should i take for muscle growth?

I live in the uk and I cant figure out which supplement i should be taking for my goals. I have been taking maximuscle cyclone for the last 3 weeks and have actually noticed a bit of a difference in that my muscles look a bit fuller.

A bit if info about me:

Im ectomorphic and do weight training 4 times a week and do kickboxing as my cardio session twice a week. My goal is to build lean muscle, time is not important to me as im not after a fast bulk as i dont want to put loads of fat on. I am currently on a high protein diet also.

I have also taken dymatize whey in the past but didnt really get much from it. I have heard about creatamax also but price is quite high even at discount.

With the different info out there i need some genuine advice about this.

    Any answers very welcome.

    Thanks

  • Best workout program for building muscle 3 day week?

I am about to embark on a muscle building program on a lean bulk but I cant find a workout program that suits me. I have been looking on bodybuilding.com but im coming up short due to my circumstances.

Info: Im quite active as well as have a day job and usually train in the mornings im looking for a 3 day a week program due to me training in muay thai 2 days a week so that kinda goes towards my cardio as it does burn a lot of calories. I have an hour in the mornings to train before i go to work.

As I also stated Im doing a lean bulk as i dont want to add to much fat.

Any recommendations and all answers welcome thanks
