  • After telling him this, will he text/call me back or not..?

I have a massive crush on this guy, and I freeze around him because of the stupidest reason... I am kind of intimidated by how good he looks, how smart he is, and how well mannered and kind he is. I've never been liked back by a guy who fits my standards perfectly (not to be superficial or anything). It's not that I am out of his league or anything, I just usually go for guys that I lower my standards for because it allows me to be more comfortable around them and not so intimidated by them. The best relationship of my life was with someone I would not have usually gone for if I always stuck to my standards.

Anyway, I told him two days ago, even though he already had known for 2 weeks, that I was so nervous around him and that I thought he was cute. He said that I he also thought I was cute and that we should also hangout more. I agreed that we should, and then tried telling him again that I just didn't know how to act around him, but the words didn't come out. After a little bit, he said again that we should hangout more together, but then for some reason, probably because I kept trying to word something with no success, he thought that I wanted to hook up with him in his room then and there.

I clarified that that wasn't what I was after. He told me not to worry when he saw I was kind of hurt at the fact that he would think that, and he said that we should hangout more.

This happened Friday night, and it's now Sunday and he hasn't said anything.

Also, he was the one who had invited me to hangout with him that night, and he was really acting gentleman-y and like he liked me. He moved a couple times from his spot, to come sit next to me, he tried to make conversation with me the whole time, had me hold on to his arm when I was tripping over my own feet (hahaha, yeah I'm kind of an awkward girl), and he kept putting his hand on my knee, or sitting really close to me. Aah I have such a crush on this guy.

So here's my question: Do you guys think he will contact me again? It's been two days, am I just being impatient, or should he have already called me back?

  • Was this a turnoff for him?

He invited me to hangout with him and three of his guy friends yesterday. I was really nervous around him, I could socialize fine with everyone else but just not as much with him. Even though I had so much to say to him. At one point we were alone in his room so since we both weren't sober I decided to have the balls to tell him; "can I be honest with you? I'm so nervous around you. I think you're cute. Sooo yeah..." And then I turned away so very awkwardly and looked at everything but him haha. He responded saying I was cute too but that we should chill more. But for some reason he then got the impression that I wanted to hook up with him then and there and said that he just wanted to pass out. I clarified that I didn't want to just hook up with him like tht and so he said that we should chill more again.

What do you guys think? Should I have not done this? I did this last night at 2am, and I haven't heard from him since.

  • Should I tell him that I like him?

I like a guy, but I am not looking for anything too serious or long term. Basically a friends with benefits type of thing would suit me perfectly.

I'm planning to just straight forwardly tell him that I think he's cute, but I don't know if it is a good idea to mention the friends with benefits thing. At the same time though, I wouldn't want him to think too quickly that I'm looking for something serious.

I also dont want to seem too slutty/pushy, but I've gotten confirmation that this guy does have an interest for me, so I think telling him the truth would be worth a shot. So guys, girls, any tips on how I should phrase this to him tomorrow? Do guys like it when girls make the first move?

  • Should I tell him I think he's cute? Guys, can I get your input on this too?

I like this guy, but things are really developping slowly because I freeze up when I'm near him. I'm kind of fed up with wasting time like this, always wondering what i should text him, or why he hasn't answered right away. So tomorrow, I was thinking to invite him to chill after classes at the beach, have a smoke, and just be straight forward to him and tell him I think he's cute. I'm not looking for a longterm relationship, but a friends with benefits kind of situation would be great.

I know he has an interest in me, and he knows I have one in him, but neither of us have mentioned it to each other because for some reason I act like a timid freak around him :p

So everyone, should I do this and tell him I think he's cute tomorrow, or would that be more of a turnoff for him then a turn-on?

  • How to create an interesting/flirty conversation with a guy?

I am really into this guy, but I barely know him. He has a very chill vibe, and is much easier to speak to in person. However, since I don't see him often, my getting to know him is limited to being through text.

I'm not a shy person at all, but sometimes I become completely and utterly incapable to make my intentions known to the guy I like. His friend told me today that my crush only thinks I want to hang out with him as friends. (The last time we hungout and that my crush was there, I was so nervous and made really shitty conversation with him, even though I was engaging really well with the other people that were present at our hangout. Ironically all I wanted to do was to just talk to him. Fail!)

Our texts conversation are not bad, he's definitely interested in what I have to say, and he usually responds back quickly, and doesn't answer with 'k' or 'lol' (that would just be a waste of everyone's time haha).

So my questions for you my fellow yahoo answerers is: How can I create a more engaging conversation through text and in person, that gives him the hint that I'm not just trying to be friendly? Any examples? And secondly, I had the guts to invite him to hangout with me tomorrow withe some friends (hanging out with him and me alone at this point might be awkward knowing me). Could you guys suggest any tips on how I should act? Flirty things I should say?

  • Do these two things mean the same thing?

In a college, does 'residence grounds' mean anything different then 'campus grounds'?

  • Friends with benefits: Why didn't we have sex?

I met him a few months back, and we hit it off pretty quickly. We've been hooking up every once and a while since then. He never has shown any interest in being with me for more than just hooking up, however we have hung out outside of hooking up a couple times and we have had some rather elaborated conversations about our mutual interests. He is also really into showing me all his music and he's showed me random things like his skills on the sax a few times as well. Overall he takes really good care of me when I'm with him, cooks me good food, pays for me when we're out together and with his friends etc.

2 nights ago he drunk dialed me, but I couldn't understand anything that he said. So I figured it was just another funny drunk dial from anyone. The next day he invited me over to his, and he was, as he usually is, pretty straight forward about 'practicing the art of sensual healing together' (he has a rather direct sense of humour). So I assumed that we were going to have sex.

After getting lost for 45 minutes, (I'm rather bad at directions) and finally finding his house, we smoked together and with his friends, and then went to his room. But we only did foreplay. I'm pretty sure he did want to have sex, but after a few minutes of me going down on him (which he usually loves) he asked me to wait 5 minutes (he didn't seem to have finished though). So i layed down next to him, we listened to more music, until we both fell asleep.

I don't really understand why we didn't have sex, considering we always do. (in fact there is little effort in foreplay before we do get right down to it, whereas this time, there was a large emphasis on foreplay on his part too, which is unusual with him.)

PS. I was talking to him and his friends about this dude, Santiago, I met two weeks ago back in my home town, and when I mentioned it he seems pretty inquisitive about him, asking me about who Santiago was and where I met him. Is that supposed to mean anything?

I was really rather pleased with the little thing we had going on between us, I'm hoping his seemingly sudden change of mind about not having sex, does not mean that our whole friends with benefits thing is off? What do you guys think? What could be the reason why we didn't have sex this time when it's usually really obvious how much I turn him on? He seemed pretty turned on that night, except that it didn't last. Is that on me, or just him?

  • How to inhale weed properly?

I've seen so many people inhale, and hold the smoke in their lungs and idk how to do it! The people I've seen do it, hold it in and when they talk the smoke doesnt come out of their mouths until they willingly blow it out! Can someone tell me how that happens?! Because I've tried holding it in like that and then trying to say something, but the smoke immediately comes out again.

Any tips/techniques on how to smoke weed properly and do what I've just described? I've gotten really great highs from edibles, but for some reason when I smoke it I get high very very rarely, and I think it's because I don't know how to properly inhale it.

  • He totally rejected me?

Last night the guy who I'm basically friends with benefits with was obviously not interested at all in even talking to me. We ran into each other at a concert, he knew I was going to. ( in fact he was the one that had told me I should go before he found out i had already bought tickets).

I feel like **** because he literally switched from acting interested in me, to not at all. (granted that was one night, but it still REALLY looked like he was trying to run away from me). He said hello to me at one point, and he sort of invited me to go smoke weed with him (although I dont know if he did that by obligation because i had just told him i was going to go find some weed). Also I can be straight forward sometimes, so I was like 'oh so you're not answering my calls, cause you're too cool for me? it's cool, thats ok" and he didn't really know what to say, he kind of stood there with a blank stare in his face trying to find an excuse for why he didn't pick up/answer.

I called him 6 times (my friend called him three, because she was in posession of my phone for almost the whole night because she was texting her boyfriend - her own phone had decharged - so she called him for me not knowing that i had already called him). So I am now the dumb idiot who calls people 800 times when she doesn't get any response.

Anyway, so I left with my friends and realized that I had left him and his friends there after he was like 'yeah we can go smoke weed'. I knew he had left as well though, if he really wanted to hangout afterwards he would have said something to me. So i called him and said that I was going to bed, and that I was sorry if I had unintentionally ditched him for the weed thing. He said he was going to bed too, and said oh no, and that everything was fine.

I deleted his number from my phone because I just want to make sure that I am not the first one to start any conversation with him anymore. I feel really stupid and like he's never going to speak to me again because he thinks I'm an idiot.

He's really weird, and keeps giving me mixed signals though. Not later then last Sunday we were talking about going to a strip club, and then he was like Why would I go to a strip club when I've got a girl who could strip for me right here. (I am assuming he was talking about me. He's not an ******* at all so i really doubt that he meant someone else).

There's a relatively high chance that he will see me around campus, when he does, or the last time he did, he said hi to me. I'm thinking I'll just be extra distant, and make myself less available to him in the hopes that it'll make him change his mind about me. We've had some really good talks during which we realized we had loads in common, and he's really nice, so I feel like complete crap for managing to turn someone like that away.

Is there anything else I can do to 1. make my own self esteem better 2. at some point in time attract him?

  • How to set up my own website?

I'm selling custom portraits and would like to set up a website where clients can pay via paypal. Are there any websites out there that offer that? If yes which? If not, how would I go about selling my art through a website where people can add things to their basket, review their items, and then pay for them via paypal?

Are there any free or relatively cheap ways to do this?

    1 AnswerSmall Business7 years ago
  • What would you be willing to pay for this?

I'm debating what sort of pricing I should set on PDF and original portraits (different price for each. The original would cost more.)

After taking a look at my art, how much do you think you'd be willing to pay for a portrait of your choice done by me? I really need opinions! Thanks!
