Can anyone remind me what that webpage change monitor is called that has been around for a while? I have used google alerts in the past but there was another that was specifically for monitoring single webpages for any changes or updates which it then notifies you about. Can anyone remember or remind me what it is called?1 AnswerOther - Internet5 days ago

I wonder if any doctors out there can answer me a few questions.
Am I right in my belief that germs, viruses, and bacteria proliferate much more rapidly in temperatures above 67°F?
If so then an epidemic should be much more prevalent in warmer countries than cold?
Why do they sell Lemsip and Beechams as a cure for influenza when they are mixed with hot water? Won't that prolong the problem instead of killing it off?

I'm going on holiday to Australia for three weeks for the first time in quite a while. I'm from the UK.
Can you give me any advice on good iPhone apps to use while in Oz for things like accommodation? I got the Lonely Planet Guide Book but it doesn't have much in there in the way of Accommodation listings and places to stay.
Is it best to get a separate Aussie SIM once I get there? I am on Virgin Mobile UK (the BT EE Network).
Also can you recommend any places in Sydney to hire a car? I will be driving up the coast and back so out of Sydney and NSW.
What are prices like for Hawaiian Tropic spray in Australia? I got three bottles of SPF30 180ml for £6 each for the continuous spray ones here in the UK. Will this be okay for three weeks? I got badly burned the first time I went to Australia so want to avoid that again.3 AnswersSydney8 months ago
How easy is it to upgrade components such as memory, hard drive, cpu, graphics, on an Apple computer such as an iMac, Macbook Pro, Mac Mini etc at a later time?
Can it be done or is it always best to just get what you think you may need right at the start?
I only bought an Apple product for the first time three years ago an iPhone 6s. I am thinking of switching from a Windows pc to a Mac as my next computer. I have a Windows 10 system at work and I absolutely hate it.3 AnswersDesktops1 year ago
P0030 Oxygen sensor upstream. Warning light comes on now and again. When I filled up yesterday with premium it went off again.?
P0030 Oxygen sensor upstream. Warning light comes on now and again. When I filled up yesterday with premium it went off again. It is a fairly new sensor. Do you think it could be a wiring issue, vacuum leak or something as simple as needing a new cap for my petrol tank?2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 year ago

I need a new desktop as my current system is about eight years old. It is very slow and a lot of things it can no longer do.
I am in the UK.
I don't do any gaming.
I sometimes do video editing and music work.
I mostly use a computer for writing, web surfing, office tasks, looking at financials, sometimes remote working, listening to music, storing and editing photos, and watching video.
I often have hundreds of Chrome tabs open at the same time. My current system only has 8GB memory so often struggles. the processor in this system is a core i5 second gen!
Any advice on what I should consider and what specs should I be looking for would be appreciated? I think I also need a better monitor as the one I have is a 17 inch Iiyama TN panel. I think I need a VA panel over an IPS but anything would be an improvement and most panels today seem to be IPS.
I have read an article somewhere that Intel is best for gaming but AMD is better for everything else?
I would consider Apple instead of a Windows 10 system but they do seem quite expensive. I guess the trade off is paying more for better compatibility, security and stability versus saving money for a more customisable system?1 AnswerDesktops2 years ago

Is there an App I can use for watching locally stored videos on an iPhone that will allow playlists and for the videos to repeat at the end of the playlist? At the moment I am streaming from YouTube but it burns a lot of my data when I'm away from WiFi at home or work.1 AnswerYouTube3 years ago
Hi. I met this girl online who wants to chat with me on Gmail web cam chat. Not quite sure what this is but I do have a Gmail account.
Can I do this on my iPhone as I don't actually have a webcam for my desktop?
If not I guess I can just buy a webcam as they are quite cheap but I'm still not sure how this works.
