  • Cat Problems ?

My family has had a cat for ten years who’s never been a good cat. He bites, scratches, attacks at complete random, etc. we’ve been putting up with it but recently he’s also been pooping and peeing in random rooms in the house and bringing in mice and rabbits that are never all the way dead. We’ve had our wits ends and can’t put up with him anymore. We don’t want to take him to a shelter because we still care about him and don’t want him to die but we can’t have him here anymore. Is there anywhere humane that we can take him that he might actually like? Somewhere he has room to roam? Anything like that?

  • Podcast Names?

A friend of mine and I are starting up a podcast. No restrictions, no censorship. We're both chatty and have a lot of stories to tell and a lot of topics to discuss. We're almost polar opposites on a good handful of topics so it should be interesting. The goal is to make this comedic and fun so any suggestions would be helpful.

  • Keep the Jeep or trade it in?

Two and a half years ago I was involved in a car accident in which my old car was completely totaled. I took the 4 thousand dollars I was reimbursed and bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The problem is that I originally really wanted a truck but I let a friend talk me into thinking that a crossover made more sense; so I bought the crossover that most appealed to me... My Jeep. I ended up getting a front wheel drive because it was the cheapest option and it was my favorite color of the bunch; even though it snows in Colorado it's never that bad so I felt like a 2 wheel drive wouldn't set me back that much. Two and a half years later I've been having regrets for a while. I like my jeep a lot and it's a great car but deep down it's not what I want, and I still owe payments on it and hate making payments on a car that deep down I know isn't what really want. Winters are a lot more of a pain than I thought they'd be and every time I see the truck I originally wanted I feel even more envious. I'm at the spot where I either wait till my Jeep is payed off and then immediately trade it for the truck I want; locking myself into another payment plan for 5 plus years or figure out how to trade it in now and in turn paying more a month than I'm used to and perhaps comfortable with. Thoughts?

  • How do I tell my parents I quit my job?

For over two years I was depressed and felt like I hit rock bottom. I was working at dead-end jobs that I hated and gave me no respect for how hard I really worked and lived in my parents basement. Far from able to get my own house. Recently I decided to make a change and quit my job to work for myself full time and move into a house with two of my friends. I know it’s risky and going to be a hard battle but it’s a battle I’m willing to fight. I also believe in my abilities and my work ethic to be successful. I started ubering again to pay for rent and other expenses so I do still have money coming in. The only real problem I’m having is telling my parents. When I told them I was moving out, they didn’t like it but they supported it because they knew it would make me happy. But once they hear that I quit my job I know that they will be extremely furious with me and even though I’m willing to struggle they won’t support my decision. I only just moved out a couple of days ago and feel guilty about dropping another bomb. But I hate lying to them and know it won’t be long till they figure it out anyway. I know the best thing to do is to sit them down and tell them; but I’m just not sure how. I’m not afraid of their wrath but I am afraid of upsetting them. Especially after they took me moving out so surprisingly well... This is my last hurdle but I can’t help but feel lost on how to jump it.

  • What's the matter with my brain?

Recently I've been having a dilemma; a really bad dilemma. I don't know how to best explain it, but something is going on with my mind, and not for the first time. 7 years ago out of the blue I started getting randomly terrified, just terrified; not of anything specific. And has been happening once every few years, but just stops. It does seem to be getting better every time I go through this little phase but it's still absolutely brutal. Now it only happens either at night or when I simply think about it too much; but I just wish I knew what was going on. It's the worst sensation and the worst fear I've ever felt, and I don't even know what I'm afraid of; I just feel fear. I get these weird visions, then I open my eyes terrified, sweating, and a slight bit of vertigo with my heart racing about a mile a minute. Have you ever just been terrified? Of nothing in particular, just terrified. But it's the worst fear I've ever felt. Can someone please help me? I just would like what's going on and how to stop it from happening. Or at least calm it down.

  • How do I get out more? Where do I go?

I've never had a real relationship, a bummer but true. I really want to find that special girl in my life but after graduating I just don't know how to go about it. My family says I need to get out more, which is true, I'm kind of a loner; but I don't know how to go about it. My "friends" don't call me much, and when they do they only ever want to go to the same boring place which doesn't help me at all. It's not like I can just walk into a random coffee shop by myself on a Tuesday morning and ask a girl out; it's not that easy. It's not that I like spending every weekend night locked in my room, I just never know what I need to do. Can someone please help me? I've never been good at this stuff, and I'm tired of being alone...

Ps. I've tried online dating websites and apps like Tinder; but I haven't had very good luck there either.

  • How to get a Mailroom Job in a large company?

I graduated Film School a little over a year ago with a screenwriting degree and really want to get in the television business. I have had absolutely NO luck getting a job and am finding out more and more stuff everyday about how to go about getting one. I've known for a while that to get started at a great company, I'm going to have to start at the bottom which I've also been struggling to do. Unfortunately since it's been over a year since I graduated, internships are out (not for lack of trying). After talking to a friend, he suggested that a mailroom is a great place to start within a company. My problem is I don't know how to go about acquiring a specific job like that. You go to Linkd'in, Indeed, or even the specific company's website you'll see a large list of positions you could apply for (and probably not get) but a mailroom application is never on there. How do you apply for a job like that? Please, does anybody know?

  • My macbook air keeps making me put in my password to log in.?

My macbook never made me do this before, unless I completely restarted it. After accidentally coming across a virus, I did a HARD reset on my mac. Wiped everything. Good thing was it looked like the virus was gone, but ever since I rebooted it, I've had to type my password to log in whenever my screen goes from sleep to wake. That's FREAKING ANNOYING. I googled it and set up an automatic login on my mac, but even though it says it's set up... IT NEVER AUTOMATICALLY LOGS ME IN!!! Something is obviously wrong; can someone please help me?

  • How do I put myself out there so I can get closer to finding a girlfriend?

I'm 23 and have went my entire life without having a girlfriend. Throughout high school and college, due to my own problems, I've failed to get into a committed relationship. For the last few years I've watched my friends and family go in and out of relationships while I remained single. Now everyone I'm close with are in serious relationships that they've all been in for the last 1 to 3 years. It makes my heart ache that I've never got to experience that. I want that to change. Everyone says to get out there more, and I'm more than willing; but I don't know how, or where to start. If anyone has any ideas on where to begin, I'm more than willing to listen; because I'm sick and tired of watching everyone else be happy while I sit here, feeling alone. I'm starting to lose hope, but I really don't want to.

But the two don't match up, at leased at the moment. I guess what I'm asking is just for some advice. What do you guys think!? Should I go for both or put Vegas off for the time being?

  • Is it a better idea to live in Las Vegas instead of Los Vegas?

I am an aspiring writer/actor looking to have a future in film and tv shows. For a while now I've wanted to move to Los Angeles to get a start in my HOPEFUL career but now I'm second guessing and wondering if Las Vegas would be a better option considering Las Angeles is a little too packed and expensive for me. What do you guys think?

  • I need help getting back in shape.?

When I was 16 years old I was 5'4 tall, and 130 pounds. I was nice and lean and just the perfect size. 5 years later, I'm 21 years old. I'm the same height I was in high school but now I weigh 162 pounds. I have really let myself go. I want to get back in shape, start eating better and start exercising. The only problem is that I lack the motivation. Does anyone know how I can stay motivated and dedicated. I am so ashamed of how I look now.

  • What do I say to this girl.?

There's this girl that I really like that I've known since we were kids. I lost contact with her for years but have recently started talking to her again. It's really hard to talk to her because she's not on Facebook too often and I don't have her number yet. So my questions are

1: how do I ask for her number?

2: what should I say to ask her on a date?
