  • Back (horizontal) outlet toilet question?

I'm looking for a toilet with the highest available back outlet. So far I've seen 185mm but I am looking for something with a higher waste spiggot than that even. Has anyone seen anything higher?

  • Connecting back outlet toilet to horizontal waste pipe?

I'm from Canada but am asking this here as it appears this situation is more common in Europe. I'm looking to connect a back outlet toilet to a horizontal waste pipe. This pipe runs inside my house with a slight grade. I'd like to leave the back of the toilet right into a 45 degree bend that's downward and to the left (following the slope) and into the waste pipe. My concern is that this pipe is too short and may cause me some problems.

  • Noisy fridge when compressor not running?

When my fridge compressor comes off, I can hear a noise from the evaporator core. It sounds like the freon draining but it's quite noisy and annoying. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

  • Problem with television?

I have a Toshiba 27AF43 television. I started seeing white lines in the top of the screeen coming down about 2 inches. I looked online and found it was probably a bad capacitor in the vertical deflection section. I opened the TV and found the spot on the bord that says V-out, but I can't seem to find the required capacitors (C406 - C409). I also notcied this:

Is this a capacitor that leaked or is the white stuff just some silicone or something? This cap is number C521, could it be my poblem?

    Any info would be great.

  • Problem with homemade humidor humidity?

I have a homemade humidor, made of an airtight wooden box. I lined the inside with cedar wood that I got from breaking up cigar boxes, and I have a humidity puck that I made from some florist's oasis. I mixed some propelyne (sp) glycol with water at a 50-50 mix, but my humidity doesn't stay at approx. 70. I'm having to soak the oasis every 3 days and re water the cedar wood to keep it at 70 for 3 days. If I don't, it drops to 60 and stabilizes there. I've been adding only distilled water, as from what I understand, the more glycol, the less humidity it creates What am I doing wrong and how can I keep the humidity at 70 for more than 3 days?

  • Cigar Humidor question?

I have a home made humidor in which I have a box of Cubans. Should I have the Cuban cigar box open or closed inside the humidor? I want to make sure the humidity is getting to the cigars and not being stopped by the box.

  • Why do my car torque specs have a range?

When reading torque specs for my car in my service manual, there's always a range (I.E. 37 - 51 ft. lbs) Why is there a range and where between the two should I torque my bolts?

  • Can someone tell me what the problem is with my 2001 VW Passat?

My 2001 Passat is doing something weird. When driving around at speeds of 80 km per hour or less, the temperature stays at 90 degrees Celcius, which is right in the middle of the guage. Anything 90 km per hour or over, the guage jumps to 130 degrees (redlie). Then I get the stop alarm with the temperature signal flashing.. When I slow down to 80 or less, the guage immediately drops back down to 90. I''m thinking this is a sensor or something. Any help would be great. Thanks!
