A couple of weeks ago, I had an arguement with a guy over how to use a roundabout. He pulled up behind me at a traffic light and ran up to my side of the car. I rolled down my window and yelled for a bit (I yelled back). He then slapped me through the window and tried to walk off. I got out and called him back. Short story is, I didn't hit him back but went to the police instead. He was in a company van and I got the full registation plate number. They've interviewed both of us now and, although he admits arguing with me, he doesn't admit to hitting me. Police said without any witnesses or CCTV, they won't be charging him. Does anyone have any ideas for how to find witnesses to this? It happened outside a car dealer, whose CCTV camera didn't cover the main road I was on. I'm thinking about asking them if I can put up an A-board outside, asking for witnesses. Is there any reason I shouldn't be allowed to do this? Alternatively, does anyone have any good ideas?5 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police9 years ago
I know the Motorola doesn't have a sim card, so this is confusing me. Surely there's a way without typing them all in?1 AnswerMobile Phones & Plans10 years ago
Yesterday morning I woke up with quite severe neck and shoulder muscular pain. Normally, a wheat bag and/or pills will help sort out any niggles I have. I get quite tense shoulders, which either go away on their own or I go to a sports massage therapist for. However, this is a much more severe pain than I've had and I've tried heat, infrared vibrating massage, paracetamol, ibuprofen, tramadol, ibuprofen gel and diethylamine salicylate cream. Nothing is even touching it! It feels quite a bit like whiplash, which I had about 10 years ago. The problem is, I have a gig tonight fronting my rock band and I just know I can't build up the energy in the room if I can't move! Any ideas for helping me get by until I can see the sports massage therapist and/or my doctor?Pain & Pain Management1 decade ago

Does anyone know where I can find decent toffee (not Mackintosh's) in Canada for a gift? I live in England and my dad lives in Canada. I don't want to pay Royal Mail the exorbitant fees just to send a box of toffee to him! I'd like to order from within Canada and have them post it to his address. Any ideas?3 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade ago
