Why do I feel better in a different accent?
I speak with my born accent, (Accent A) and I joke around in the accent I fake. (Accent B) At least at first.
I would talk in Accent B at my job and with my co-workers and they all say it sounds extremely realistic and believable. I even tried talking to someone who was born with Accent B and when I spoke to them they didn't know I was faking it until I told them.
But I never learned or anything I just copied the people I heard. The thing is, is that Accent B feels more natural to me than Accent A.

Is there any way to fake being born from somewhere else? To become a different person?
What if someone was to become famous, and kept up a fake (but believable) accent, lied about where they were born, and were just in general believable as a different person. Would other people be able to find out?

Please only answer if you've seen the show.
If you met someone in real life, like Gail Peck, would you hate her?
Sometimes I feel I come off like that. Like how she is.1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture7 years ago
I was sitting on my sofa and I got up to use the restroom, which is only about 10 feet away. Once I got the restroom I realized that my vision was dimming away and a really high pitched noise came into my ears. My vision was going away from the edges, and crawling towards the center. Since I was in the bathroom I looked myself in the eyes, and that was all I could see before it went all dark. It was only dark for a split second, though, after that quick second my vision returned and the high pitched noise went away.
When my vision was going away I felt a sort of "lack of physical presence" so I held onto the edge of the sink and stabilized myself. It felt like I couldn't hold myself up.
The high pitched noise didn't hurt my ears but it got strong enough to where at the moment I couldn't hear anything else.
What did I just experience? I'm not dehydrated, I've been drinking water since I woke up and I already had a good breakfast. Again, can someone tell me what this was?1 AnswerOther - Diseases7 years ago
There is this one topic (I won't say what) that is always very touchy with me, but I can never tell why.
I get a physical twitch in my eye when people talk about it but I can't recall anything of the sort that involved me.
Is it common for the mind to block out, and totally wall off, a memory of something that happened to you when you were younger? And if so, how do you find out what it is?1 AnswerPsychology7 years ago
My family is from Spain so a cheek kiss is something we do whenever we greet each other. Do they do that in England? I don't think they do, I think they just shake hands.
A friend of mine is telling me that they do but I don't think that's right.5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture7 years ago

I was wondering if people thought I could be a model.
This picture is a little old, I'm not that fat and my hair is not so gross.
Do you think I could be a model? Not a runway model but maybe a glamour model or a commercial model. Or do you guys think I would need a nose job?8 AnswersPolls & Surveys7 years ago
I know girls find accents of men sexy, like a man with a Dublin or Glasgow or London accent, girls like.
What type of accents do men find sexy on women? I feel like a Dublin accent, for example, would be a little clumsy on a woman (I have a Dublin accent) and a man wouldn't like it. What accents do men find attractive on women?10 AnswersGender Studies7 years ago
I think it is, and I hate it. I want surgery because I feel it's hideous. DO NOT tell me "oh you're beautiful don't worry" just tell me if you feel it's big or not.13 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style7 years ago
Tomorrow at my school is 80's day. I want to dress like an 80's female mechanic, I already have a black (fake) leather cropped jacket. I want to look like a modern yet old style 80's female mechanic.
I was thinking maybe leather gloves. Either fingerless or cut so that the palm shows. Maybe high waist-ed pants. I don't really know, because I don't want to look stereotypical but at the same time I want to look fashionable. I have a pixie cut, so there isn't much to do with my hair. Anyways, can someone offer either idea suggestions and/or pictures to help me create a great outfit?
Please, and thank you.3 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years ago
If I ride my bicycle 12 miles everyday, at 14-16 mph, how much weight can I lose in 2 months?
(I'm a 16 yr old, I weight 130 lbs, and I'm a girl.)
Also, what if I rode my bike 8 miles everyday? How much would I loose then?2 AnswersDiet & Fitness9 years ago
My sister hit her head (around the temple area) on the leg of an elliptical at around 11 am, and it's 4:53 pm and whenever she even gently touches the spot she hit, yawns, or opens her mouth it gives her a pain. She can't describe it, either.
