i'm writing a story about five fresh-out-of-university young adults trying to live their lives in new york city. the story is very much based off of friends / how i met your mother. it's not really a novel, more so just little blurbs and stuff. however, i still want a good name for the story.1 AnswerBooks & Authors6 years ago
i'm writing a story and there are four siblings but i'm feeling really iffy about the faceclaims.
the oldest is mason, portrayed by chris colfer (kurt on glee. his character is more like his character in struck by lightning though).
the second oldest, rachel, is portrayed by nina dobrev.
the third born, emily, is portrayed by charli xcx. it's apart of her character that she dyes her hair and wears a **** load of eye makeup and tries to work that whole "hot but scary" look.
the youngest is charlie, portrayed by ansel elgort.
do they look like they could be related? if not, do you have any other suggestions (especially for emily/charli xcx). thanks!2 AnswersCelebrities6 years ago
i've been an avid youtuber viewer for a while now. i admire a lot of youtubers like zoella, connor franta, etc. i suffer from manic depression and i feel like youtube would be a really good way for me to deal with that. i love making people laugh, being on camera and being creative, so yeah. however, i'm aware i need some equipment. i have a standard video camera, which works pretty well, but i plan on saving for a new one. i want to know where i can buy reasonably priced microphones and lighting. keep in mind that i'm fifteen. i have a part-time job, but i don't think i can drop $500 on equipment.
another thing is editing software. windows movie maker is kind of meh. i have a toshiba with windows 8. is there anything softwares i can download that are good for editing?2 AnswersYouTube6 years ago
i'm auditioning for hairspray in a few days i just want some opinions. thank uuuu.
there's my soundcloud. i'm an "actor who sings", you could say. so in other words, my acting trumps my singing ninety nine percent of the time. i'm more of a comedic actress than dramatic actress. i'm fifteen and auditioning for a program that is 13-17. i also have brown hair, brown eyes, and lightly tanned skin. yaay.1 AnswerTheatre & Acting7 years ago
this is my soundcloud account. :3
i did covers of skyscraper, falling slowly, mama i'm a big girl now and freddy my love.
i want to know your honest opinions on my singing, or even just one of the songs.
here are some basic little facts about me.
- I'm kind of tan (half white, half anglo-indian, which is indian/british with mostly british descent so ya).
- I have dark hair and dark eyes.
- I'm 15, pretty short and btw, the program is for people aged 13-17.
- I'm a mezzo-soprano and sometimes/kind of a belter.
- I'm more of a comedic actress and I'm good with playing specific character types. I'm also a better actor than I am singer.
I just want a good idea so I can revolve my song and monologue around a certain character or characters.3 AnswersTheatre & Acting7 years ago
I am probably auditioning for hairspray soon and I really need some song suggestions. I'd be open to playing just about any character, so songs tailored to a specific character isn't what i'm asking for. i'm a mezzo-soprano and occasionally a belter. it just depends on the song. so PLEASE leave suggestions. musical theatre songs only (and preferably no grease, it's a bit overdone for hairspray).3 AnswersTheatre & Acting7 years ago
- Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray
- Honey, Honey from Mamma Mia
- The Name of The Game from Mamma Mia
- Mama I'm a Big Girl Now from Hairpsray
- Out Tonight from RENT
I really want to play Patty Simcox. She's not a big singing role, but she's a difficult acting character! Which of these songs would be best?2 AnswersPerforming Arts7 years ago
I'm writing a story.
It's a very fancy school, so it should have a fancy name. It's located in Hollywood and it's a school for teen stars and starlets. It would be nice if it sounded good with Academy and/or had a short form. Like how in the clique novels, Octavian Country Day is usually shortened to "OCD".3 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years ago
This may sound stupid, but I don't care because I'm genuinely worried. I went to a One Direction concert about a month ago, so of course I sang/screamed my heart out. I lost my speaking voice for about a day and my voice was still cracking for a few days after that. My singing voice was completely terrible and lost after the concert, so I didn't do any singing for a while. Today, I tried doing some covers just to see what the deal was and my voice has seriously changed. I can't sing as high as I was able to before and my belting has also gotten worse. I'm really scared because performing is a big part of my life and if I can't sing properly anymore I'll be SO upset because of how much I've helped myself improve in the past year. Is it possible that my vocal chords are damaged, and if they are, is it permanent? Anything I can do to fix it?
Side note: I'm a fourteen (almost fifteen) year old girl. This is not my voice changing.
that's my soundcloud. some things are a bit rough, but just try to ignore that. i really want an honest opinion, thank you. xx.
also, if you can tell if i'm a mezzo-soprano or an alto, that'd be great too. it's not necessary but if you could tell me that'd be awesome.
I was cast as one of the four optimistic voices along with three other roles in the wizard of oz, and although I know what the other roles are, I'm really not sure what optimistic voices are? What's the vocal range? What scene are they in? I'm just confused1 AnswerTheatre & Acting8 years ago
I'm 14 and applying for a job at Montana's as a hostess.
I'm wearing a black pencil skirt, with a blouse tucked into it and black ballet flats.
Is that okay?1 AnswerFood Service8 years ago
I'm 14, the community theatre hold auditions for kids between 6-18. I can act very well, my dancing isn't perfect, but it's good enough for a musical production (I also have training in dance and gymnastics and I was on my school's dance team for two years) I'm pretty sure I'm a mezzo-soprano, but I may be in between an alto and a mezzo (but definitely more of a mezzo and I can hit higher notes like in "somewhere over the rainbow"). I'm really not quite sure. Who will I probably be cast as in the wizard of oz? I just want a good idea of who I even have a chance to be. (btw, the theatre I'm auditioning for said that girls could be casted in male roles and that everyone auditioning will be cast because there are going to be three different productions of the same show).3 AnswersTheatre & Acting8 years ago
That's me singing, hi. Don't be rude, but some opinions would be nice. I've never had singing lessons and I don't really sing for people, so I figure that I could get some constructive criticism on here!4 AnswersSinging8 years ago

I had a mole under my collarbone (about 1-1.5cm), and my dad and aunt both said that I shouldn't worry about it being cancerous, but I'm super insecure about it. I always wear high-necked shirts or scarves to cover it because I'm just really insecure. (I don't want anyone to say that I should just learn to like it, that's not going to happen, ok). Because of that, I decided to try the garlic method. For around three weeks (mostly on and off until recently) I put a piece of garlic on it before I went to bed, secured it with a band aid and took if off in the morning. However, today when I took the band aid off, it was a bit red, but I just figured that it was starting to peel off or whatever. However, later on, I went to scratch it and it was bumpy. When I checked it out in a mirror, it was almost bubbled. Eventually, I like-- popped the bubble but it didn't bleed even though I thought it would. When I got home, I took a good look at it and some of the skin was peeling. I removed the peeling skin and there is still clearly a mole underneath, but I think the size may have increased VERY slightly. It's still red and does still hurt, but I'm not sure if I should be worried. PLEASE HELP.3 AnswersOther - Health8 years ago
