I have recently been creating a YouTube channel. I have been studying my brains out on animation, computer terms and things of that sort, yet one little piece of knowledge evades me that I would desperately like to find out.
If you have ever seen one of FrankieOnPCin1080p's videos, you know that in DayZ, he has a little map animation that he uses to represent him travelling in the game without the audience having to watch everything he does. If he is in a vehicle, it will have a little car or truck or something, moving across the main map, followed by a little dotted line. If you need an example, here it is.
You will notice that when he travels, he will skip to the little map animation. It will often show the location of his partners that he plays with sometimes, like Jack Frags or Pinkie, moving across the map also.
I was wondering how to do this? I am not using it for DayZ, however. I am using it for Rust. I have a .png of the map that I can animate.
I have Camtasia, which is what I use to record and edit my videos, and I have Blender, which is a free 3D rendering software.
Any simple and free method to do this? Thanks!1 AnswerComics & Animation7 years ago
Terraria 1.2.3 says I don't have a suitable graphics card when I try to run it. I'm not too good with computers, but I've reinstalled the XNA thing and it didn't work, I have the 4.5.1 .NET framework, and I have a suitable system according to http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=18... I could play on 1.2.2, but since the update I can't play. At first I could, but then it just stopped working. Here are my system specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3230M 2.60 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000
