The parts of a story where someone is talking is called dialogue, right? So is there a term for the rest of it? The parts where what is/has/will happen is being described and what not?5 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years ago
The last couple of days my computer has been making the "de-dunk" error sound every 2-3 mins with no other sign of an error. Even when everything is closed and I'm sitting there twiddling my thumbs and staring at my desktop. I ran a virus scan which turned up nothing and searched google which was either no help or told me to do something well over my head. Does anyone have a simple solution to this? I've been given a disk with pictures of my CT scan but I don't seem to be able to open it on my laptop. The disk its self dosen't say anything helpful so does anyone have a suggestion on what I might need to view the images?
Terribly sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't know where to put it so I went with the suggestion.3 AnswersSoftware10 years ago
I've found a couple glasses (Don't ask me how they got lost e.e) that have something dried to the bottom. Tea it likely, possibly juice. Whatever it is it might as well be cement now. I've soaked them in hot soapy water for a little while and I'm trying again for longer now.
Point is, it's not budging. Anyone have a tip to help or should I go ahead and replace the old things?7 AnswersCleaning & Laundry10 years ago
My grandmother use to make this. It was uncooked oatmeal with pineapple juice and something I can't remember. She mixed it up and left it in the fridge overnight. It sounds strange, but was pretty good. I've tried making it, but it's just not the same. Does anyone know the missing ingredient?1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade ago
Most of my clothes are white and dark, but I've recently acquired a pair of pants that are black, but covered in bright rainbow designs. With what colours should I wash these? And is there anything else I can do to keep the colours bold?1 AnswerCleaning & Laundry1 decade ago
Today I woke up to find that the top of my tongue was an odd shade of blue/green. I haven't eaten anything with blue or green dye in it recently, It doesn't taste bad, and my breath doesn't stink. I've tried cleaning it a couple extra times today but it doesn't come off. Does anyone know what this could be?4 AnswersDental1 decade ago
