I was bullied for years I'm school and life was at an all time low when I was 17 as I had no friends and was bullied everywhere I went and went through a phase of intense depression for a few momths
I made friends with a different group who bullied me too, but the only reason I hung out with them was because I had nobody else and hanging out with them made people in school stop bullying me
I eventually fell out with that Horrible group of friends when I was 20 and have lots of real friends now and a very good job and a happy and fulfilling life and never get bullied anymore and never will be ever again.
I am now 27, but the memories have not gone away even though all of it was a long time ago. Some times I dwell on it more than others, but I feel like I never fully got over it despite moving on from the negativity in my life back then. I have some very bad days and to this day when I get into details I can't help but cry a bit, it's too hard not to be emotional.
Is this normal? Will the memories ever go away? Will I ever be able to freely talk about how I was bullied without getting upset?5 AnswersFriends1 month ago

I am texting a girl from work and it's going great and we went on a date today.
Only thing is that she is friends with another girl who back in 2015 made up horrible false rumours about my brother and wrote it on Facebook for attention, which people asked me constantly if they were true and they were not.
I prefer not to say what the rumour was because it is ridiculous and absolutely false and I have lots of evidence to prove it was essentially a joke blown way out of proportion and people believed it.
Back in 2015 I was a pushover and didn't message the bully to stand up for my brother. I am no longer a pushover and always stand up to bullies now, which I'm proud of. I am guilty I didn't confront her at the time, to this day I don't even know what the bully looks like in person.
The girl I'm dating is very nice. If she introduces me to her friends, how should I act towards the bully.
My brother was devastated at the time of the false rumour and it upsets him people somehow believe it.
I would love to confront the bully and tell her to never speak to me because I have nothing to say to her and tell her what a low life, pathetic loser she is.
Only worry is, if I do that I could resurrect an old rumour that's forgotten about. I know if shoe was on other foot at the time, my brother would have confronted her immediately at the time, I feel guilty for not defending him and would feel worse if I act any way friendly to the bully.

I always miss the signs
There has been many times where people tell me a girl was interested and i was shocked because I saw literally no signs or evidence or even think of them in my free time.
What are things to watch out for in future to tell if a girl is interested?6 AnswersSingles & Dating2 months ago
My friend doesn't believe in global warming which i find ridiculous and thinks if it's real it might not be caused by humanity.
Sometimes we disagree about the topic. Recently I mentioned cows give off lots of methane from eating grass and should be fed seaweed
My friend said if the planet warms from something natural like that then it's best to accept it because this is how it's supposed to be.
I was baffled by this and a little annoyed if I am honest11 AnswersGlobal Warming2 months ago
A couple of times a year my family and I look after my friends dog.
He's very obedient and when he's told no by someone, he accepts it. But when I say no to him, he keeps at me until I give in and doesn't accept it for an answer.
If he thinks there could be food hidden in one of the presses, he'd bark but if he's told no he accepts it. When he sees me he keeps pressure on me to open the press to show him if there's something there or not.
If I'm not home, he eats his dinner from his bowl no problem. But when I am home he wants me to hand feed him.
Why is he like this to only me?9 AnswersDogs2 months ago
I plan on doing it in next 2-3 years even if I have to alone because the world is bigger than where I'm from, even if I don't go forever I want to experience it so what advice would you give?
Also, other than if you have no kids or mortgage to pay, are you ever too old to travel?5 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 months ago
I don't think traveling ever does but let's say if you live in the one place for a few years?1 AnswerSingles & Dating2 months ago
