  • Spark plugs on a 1990 Kawasaki Ninja EX 500?

I need to know what kind of spark plug this bike takes so I can find replacements. I don't need to know how to get to them or how to remove them, just the type/brand/size or whatever else you feel is necessary.

  • More turn signal questions?

I wanted to know if I need anything extra to mount the turn signals on the fairing of a 1990 Ninja EX500. All the pictures of this model show the stalk covered but all replacement signals I've looked at just show the light on a metal post. Should I be looking for these covers as a separate part or should they be included? Are there any other small parts that I'm missing that I need for the turn signal assembly?

  • Where to buy an upper fairing for a 1990 Ninja EX500?

I got this bike for a real good price with little more than some cosmetic damages and I'm finding it very difficult to find a replacement upper fairing, preferably pre-drilled. I'm little more than a beginner riding, it's definitely the biggest bike I've owned and I'm wondering if it's worth it to replace the fairing if I might just drop it and break it again. Is it common for beginners to break the upper fairing? I also am replacing the turn signals and would like to know if it is absolutely necessary to have the fairing to mount the signals or if I can just have them on their own. What would you do and where would you buy the fairing from if you wanted to replace it?

  • Are the turn signals on a 1990 Kawasaki Ninja EX500 the same for both sides?

I just bought this motorcycle and am putting the front end back together. I need to get front turn signals to make it street legal and every place I look online only offers one kind of turn signal. I'd like to know if the same turn signal can be used on both sides or if separate ones need to be purchased for the left and right.
