Can i check the payment status in Get my payment tool if i get just SSI with direct deposit and I had not file any taxes in 2018/2019 ?
I am asking that question because I wonder why I am still keeping on getting the error message: Payment status not available - we are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because: we don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or you're not eligible for a payment. I still had not get the stimulus check 😢
The IRS said people on SSI that had not file any taxes in 2018/2019 do not have to do nothing.
Is that the reason why I get that error message just because I am not suppose to do anything in the IRS website to give them my information ? and do any of you were still getting the error message and had not yet get the stimulus check ?
I also want to know does it mean I am not ilegible and I am not going to get the stimulus check ? and when is the deadline for people on SSI getting the stimulus check by mail ?2 AnswersUnited States5 months ago
I accidentally checked the box on the non filers payment form that says someone can claim me, will I be able to get a stimulus check ?
I accidentally checked the box on the non filers payment form that says someone can claim me as a dependent, will I be able to get a stimulus check ? I am also on SSI, I am 49 years old , never married, don't have any children and I live by myself. Now I am worried it probably delayed my stimulus check because I had not get it to my direct deposit 😢6 AnswersUnited States5 months ago
IRS told everyone May, 13th is the deadline. Does it mean IRS is going to stop sending checks to direct deposits after May 13th ?
I am getting just SSI and I have an American Express Serve direct deposit. I filled out the Non filters too and put in my other bank of TD Bank information just in case if i have any problem of getting the $1,200.00 in my American Express Serve direct deposit. I filled out the Non filters too because I don't know if I have to do anything if i just get SSI than I still had not get anything after I heard that the IRS told everyone May 13th is the deadline for the direct deposit. Does it mean I am not going to get a stimulus check to any of my 2 direct deposits after May 13th ?3 AnswersUnited States5 months ago
Would filling out the 1040 2019 form help me to get the Stimulus Check coming in my direct deposit if i am on just on SSI ?
I had not been working and I had to apply for SSI in 1995 the same year you apply yours because I had a mental condition from having the brain damage from a breech birth on August 21st 1970. I am by myself, never, married, have no children, never on anyone's taxes as a dependent and
I get a direct deposit. I am very frustrated, very confused and very angry because I still get the error message today saying:
PAYMENT STATUS NOT AVAILABLE
We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or
You're not eligible for a payment.
I keep on getting a very bad feeling that I am not going to get the Stimulus Check and I am very concerned that it may went to the 5 old addresses. So I went to the Free File Fillable form site to just put in my information including my bank account information than leave where it says dependents blank than my friend copied it for me from his printer. It came out different as a 1040 2019 form with all of my information on there including my bank account information. I also wote the IRS a letter than I attach the copied 1040 2019 form with the letter and my SSI award letter than I mailed it to the IRS at this address:

The Indian guy manager in Dunkin Donuts had a very big argument with me over a sugar and he called a police on me 😞😠 I came there at 6 o clock in this morning to just ask him for 10 packs of sugar and I told him I need to get some sugar because i am feeling very sick feeling dizzy having a low blood sugar, my stimulus package money didn't came yet, I had no food and I am having an Emergency than he started to argue with me telling me I can't just come there asking him for a sugar without buying anything and he threatened to call a cops on me if I don't get out 😢 Did I do anything wrong ? 😞3 AnswersNew York City5 months ago
What happens if i fill out the Free Fillable Files forms by accident and I am getting SSI without having a dependent child ?
I made a mistake going into the Free File Fillable Forms site than fill out the non filters form application which it is only for a person that is on SSI that has not file their taxes in 2018/2019 and has a dependent child. I am just were on SSI, were by myself, were single, never married, don't have any children and had not filled any tax returns in 2018/2019. I went to this site https://www.freefilefillableforms.com/#/fd/Economi... to register than I fill out the Free File Fillable Forms by mistake, by accident and i check the (Someone can claim: you as a dependent [ ] box) by accident which i found out later in this website: https://blog.ssa.gov/supplemental-security-income-... that it is only for a person on SSI that has not file any taxes in 2018/2019 and has a dependent child. I also tried to correct that error on a computer than in few minutes I realized that I were unable to cancel it because once after it gets submitted it can't be cancelled if it is being processed.
The reason why I made that mistake is because I had a difficulty of finding someone to help me to get the information on how to get the Economy Impact Payment than I got very nervous and I panicked. I also was trying to contact IRS by this number 1-800-829-1040 than I realized that there is no agent available in their offices temporarily at this time because of the COVID-19.
