• Could my tattoo be infected?

I am a female-25, I got a small stick and poke tattoo on my chest - slightly between breasts but slightly above. It was done by a friend of mine who has her own studio space and has done many clients before. The tattoo was right on bone and a little ran into breast tissue. I got it 6 days ago but the pain hasn't seemed to go down. There is noticeable swelling, and it hurts a good amount underneath the tattoo in my bones and muscle. I have a few other tattoos, two on my arm and one on my thigh, none of them felt this painful when it was healing- they felt more like sunburns-this feels like I am being stabbed, and very achy in bones and muscle. I am a bit worried- can it be infected or is it because of the area and it being a stick and poke?

  • How can I look more awake in the morning and how can I get a more clear voice instead of a tired, scratchy voice.?

Best answer: I was always a night person and had similar problems in the morning. To make the best of this you'll need to wake up earlier. I know that is not an easy situation but that is the bad taste of the medicine. Each morning take a shower before leaving the house and have a warm drink of your choice. This may not... show more

This may not be exactly what you were looking for but if I had found a better solution, I would have used it myself.
The best sleeping tip I used was to read (not text or reference) a section of a novel right before attempting to fall asleep.

I also choke when I drink because of my swallowing-my tongue isn’t even that swollen, it’s just because the bar is (of course) so big. Any help on what to eat, my blood sugar levels are decreasing!!

  • What do you think of tattoos.?

I turned 18 last year and have two tattoos planned I want to get. They are based off my family. I want one on my left outer arm that is a cross and says “family” inside the cross. Then i want a face tattoo above my eyebrows that say “never forget.” Never forget ones who are close to you.

  • What would you think of someone getting a tattoo of their family crest?

Best answer: The best part of tattoos is that they are a personal choice. You don't have to please anyone but yourself. I find the family crest to be in good taste and it can be quite fitting for you.
The only tattoos I consider off limits are obscene and hate tattoos.

  • Does getting your tounge peirced hurt?

Best answer: I know standard tounge piercings do not hurt. It’s pierced inbetween the muscles where there are barely any nerves. During the healing process it’s only the exposed enter/exit area that’s sore.

  • What is white substance in my belly button?

I used to see a white cotton-like substance in my belly button. Every day I notice it at bathing. I remove it, clean it with water. But again on another day, it again appears there. What is it and is it normal to have it? I am 21 years male.

  • How do you find tattoo artists?

I want to get a high quality mid sized tattoo so I would like to look into the artists and some of their previous work before going with anyone. Do I just have to call places or is there a way to look up the artists themselves and their portfolios?

Best answer: The reason why many say "all sun is bad" is because they live in much sunnier parts of the world where they don't experience the cold, grey shortened day of winter nor do they experience the very low angles of the sun in northern latitudes. NOTHING feels better in February than a bit of sunlight that peeks through the endless cycles of freezing brain and snow. Many of these countries and places also worship light pale skin and see pale skin as a status symbol so for them any sun and any tan is bad. These places don't have winters!

Places that have winter feel differently about the sun, especially in the middle of the season. Nothing is better for vitamin D than that ten minutes of sunlight in the middle of winter. And unless one is in bright sun reflecting off pure white ice and snow -such as s ski hill or ice rink -the UV rays aren't strong enough in the depths of winter to do any real damage. Skiiers and boarders need protection -the rest of us can enjoy the midwinter warmth. I have a brother in law who lived in Inuvik where everyone heads outside to see the little pink glow on the horizon from the sun after a couple months in pitch dark. The first sun rise of February is celebrated.

Be sun-smart regardless. Don't let yourself get red and burnt no matter what time of the year and even when tanning protect yourself from burning. Excessive tanning isn't good from the skin the same way excessive paleness isn't healthy either.

How can i repair my thumbnail?

Best answer: Just wait for it to grow out.
