  • Australians accent?

If you are still in your teens, your accent will adapt to that of your peers at school or college because it is at school that you learn your accent. As you get older, unless there is some very good reason to change your accent, it will settle down. If you are back and forth between Australia and the USA your accent will tend to favour the country you are in. Most differences in accents are in the pronunciation of the vowels and it is quite easy to shift from Australian to American vowels when you know how to do it.

I had a laugh to myself, at the time, because I didn't think it possible for anyone to make posts of a standard lower than his.

But I see he is back, with his bum-buddies, embarrassing himself again. But no, he'll continue to use his various accounts in an endeavour to hide his ifentity.

I’m really interested in finding out about battles that Australia have won by themselves. Were the opponents more fearsome than the Emu Army that sent Australian battalions into retreat?

Two Australian women drank themselves stupid in a restaurant and passed out at the table. The waiters and patrons at the restaurant dragged the two women outside and dumped them on the pavement while they were vomiting on themselves. That is a serious breach of law, you can't just do that to people. They were slumped on the pavement for 2 hours while everyone just bypassed them. Maybe that is normal in Sydney. That is gross negligence, possibly criminally so. The two ladies only received the medical treatment that they required when the police stumbled across them.

I was in a Thai club lat night and purchased a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label. Yeah, I know, massive cheapskate buying the least expensive bottle of whisky. I obviously had no intention of drinking it by myself so was pretty much inviting everyone to have a drink. Some scouser **** joined the table and kept on topping up my drink while doing the prayer sign and a bow. I politely asked him twice to stop doing that. The third time he did it angered me a bit, so I told him: my dear gentleman, your faux displays of gratitude are annoying, my kind sir. Or words to that effect. He got really upset and said that he had been living in Thailand for 5 years so has to treat his elders with respect. He is literally 1 year younger than me. No cvnt bows to me, I had to expel him from the table. Right or wrong?
