Is there any way to prevent anything going to junk mail? The worst thing is that those were just few weeks worth of "junk mail" since old junk mail gets deleted... I assume I have lost between 1000-2000 euro because I never thought of checking my junk mail. And I thought the worst thing hotmail did... show more

Like VHS used to be massive back in the 80s and 90s whilst now they've all disappeared. They've been replaced with DVDs and one day DVDs will go and Blu Ray will take over, then something else will take over Blu Ray etc Thinking about it, the internet that we use now really hasn't been around for that long at all. But how long do you think it will last? 30 years? 50 years? Will something else take over like we store information on a microchip or something? If every other digital media gets replaced, what might be the next advancement?

And no, they don't appear on the bill.

HOWEVER, it is possible for your parents to know what websites you're visiting if they have network monitoring software/hardware AND the knowledge of how to use them. And no, using Private browsing or "Incognito Mode" won't help "hide" your tracks. That simply prevents your history from being saved on that device. It can still be 'sniffed' from another device. Look up what Wireshark is and what it can do.

If you are using Wi-Fi to perform the speedtest, then that is a possible reason. Wi-Fi is inherently slower than a physical (Ethernet) connection since it is a radio frequency and prone to interference from nearby devices.

It could be your connection from your home to your ISP that is not good or maybe from your ISP to the website where the speed test is hosted.

If other people are using the Internet at the same time as you're doing the speedtest, that can also affect your results.

A couple of days ago I was selling three bottle of plexus diet supplements on eBay, all new and sealed of course. Once the auction neared the end I noticed I had gotten a message from an eBay seller. The message read “Cease and Desist selling” with an attachment of a plexus bio pdf statement saying that further action would be taken against me if I did not take the listings down, as plexus products apparently aren’t allowed to be sold on third party websites. My problem with this though, is there are hundreds of plexus products being sold on eBay. Do you think I could still sell mine despite the message from the random eBay user? If not where can I sell them?
