I hope this is enough details and I know it maybe impossible to get an exact price but I'm looking for average or about price range. (And yes I know tattoos last forever blah blah blah they can fade in Sun yah yah they will wrinkle with my skin as I age. I know and I'm not looking for a lecture from some random prun)

If this were a commissioned piece I'd charge around $60 for it, but I feel like that's too much just to "buy" the right to get it tattooed. Another friend suggested $30, but that seems like undercharging for the amount of time I put into it. Would $45 be reasonable? the design in question is the first post here https://tobisartsnacks.tumblr.com/

  • Will a forearm tattoo affect my chance of getting a professional job?

I want to get a forestry/nature theme tattoo on my forearm. Nothing too excessive. But I'm going to school to hopefully become something like a game warden in the future. In a career like this, would it be a bad idea to get the tattoo?

Is there any risks ? Tattoo turned out good and he is a dedicated artist. He also had blood born certificate on the wall. I went to him because he is a good tattoo artist

I currently work a full time job, which I need to have a steady income, though this isn t what I want to do the rest of my life. I really want to become a tattoo artist, but simply do not have the time or money to do an unpaid apprenticeship. I understand there is a LOT to becoming a tattoo artist, between learning the practice itself, and practicing the safety/health/sterilization. I have been doing a lot of research, and plan on purchasing all of my equipment myself. Granted, I still have stuff to learn. I plan on purchasing legitimate tutorials, and practicing on fake skin before trying to do the real thing. I know it is frowned upon to be self taught, but I am aware and ready to learn everything that comes with tattoo artistry. Once I learn everything in what little spare time I have, is it possible to become a professional? Do I need to have an apprenticeship to get a job as an artist? Please let me know any tips or insight you may have. Thank you

  • Do people like Justin Bieber have too many tattoos? Why or Why Not? For me, I just prefer the natural look of skin. Whats your thought?

Best answer: I hate tattoos. I feel it makes the person look dirty. If it's a question of art then put it on clothes, right? I don't care if they're culturally tolerated from where I am but I grew up during a time when the only people with tattoos were criminals who got out of prison.

Hi, so this year I plan on changing things up and want to get a tattoo; a Japanese dragon tattoo. Yesterday at work, I complimented a woman about her tattoos on her chest and commented that I plan on getting one. A coworker next to me told me that I should study up on Japanese history and the dragons, because depending on how many toes they have, if I get one, I could would get a dragon that represents 'peasant' and I don't want that. Right now, I'm just asking for a few sites that could help learn about the history behind the dragons before I make a choice on the style of dragon I'll have tattooed. I appreciate the help (:

  • What do you think people have thought of this tattoo I've had on my wrist for years?

What do you think people have thought of this tattoo I've had on my wrist for years?

Best answer: At first sight I thought it looked like a crab, sort of like the cancer zodiac. It's looks older and faded, so I would think that you probably got it when you were younger. Maybe a spur of the moment kind of tattoo (not that those are bad). I can see the spider, since you mentioned it. You should touch it up... show more

  • Would a tattoo shop actually be a great place for a robber to hold up? (See details for explanation of my theory)?

As a man with at least 30 hours of ink in me, I have used 3 different tattoo shops based on the style I am getting, and they all operate on a cash only basis. You'll find that a lot of them are that way. Some do take plastic, but at least half of them don't, at least in my area. Don't ask me why, but it seems to be a largely cash based industry. Further, most tattoo shops have websites with an FAQ page that tells you which payment methods they accept, so anyone, including a robber, can find that information in advance. Let's say a robber selects a shop to rob based on their website saying they are cash only. Most tattoo shops charge in the range of $100-$200 per hour. What's their most popular day? Almost certainly Saturday. You can go into most shops saturday night and find a large crowd hanging out in the lou ge waiting for their turn. A robber could enter a cash only tattoo shop on a Saturday night with a gun, order everyone on the ground, and rob the register with the take of the busy day in it. He could then order all the tattoo artists to empty their pockets of tips, and all the clients to empty their pockets of the cash they all have on them to pay for their tattoo. He could make off with 10k easily, all without the security of a jewelry store or the risk of dye packs and tracking devices banks use. Do you see any flaws in my logic, or is there no better place to knock off than a cash only tattoo shop on a Saturday night?

  • Is this common among tattoos?

I got my tattoo done January 12th so it’s a little over a month old. I noticed yesterday that the outline has become raised a little and it is red underneath. I saw online that it could be cause of being sick or the weather and i just ended up getting the flu. https://ibb.co/e92man

  • True or false: Tattoos age MUCH better on men than they do on women?

You may say it depends on the person, but I personally haven't seen any exceptions. I say this as a guy with many tattoos. I have met World War 2 Veterans in their 90s and Korea veterans in their 80s who have old school sailor jerry style tattoos on their arms that they got done back in the war, and they still look great on them after over 60 years later. I have also met women in their 50s and 60s who have tattoos 20 to 30 years old, and not a one of them look in any way flattering, and good God if they were tramp stamps..... Tattoos, in my experience, look great on men of all ages and younger women. The problem is younger women can't easily get rid of them when they get older.
