Why do almost people still believe the Coronavirus is fake?
Favorite Answer:I don't know of anyone who thinks that the virus is fake. What most people are saying, myself included, is that the reaction has been dramatically overblown. Many people think that everyone who comes down with this virus dies, and that's nowhere near the truth. Even with the inflated number (close to 200,00) of deaths, that translates to an extremely high survival rate. Just recently, the CDC revised the number of Covid19 deaths. People that have actually died FROM the virus, not people with stage 4 cancer, morbid obesity, or motorcycle wrecks that died WITH the virus. The CDC lowered that death count by 94%. That brings the actual death toll down to just over 9,000 people as of 01Sept20. That's quite a bit of difference, wouldn't you say? Unfortunately, this will more than likely go unreported, or under-reported. Both are as equally bad as 'fake news". To be fair, I also attached an ABC story where they try to explain why they kept numbers that way. The public shouldn't have to "scour" the internet and government websites to find factual numbers. It sucks not being able to trust anyone. Remember just a few weeks ago when the 'news experts" said Florida and Texas were going to explode with Covid19 deaths? Well, Florida and Texas COMBINED still don't have what New York has, but that too isn't reported. People have a short memory I guess and dont hold those "exerts" to their predictions? Were you aware that medical mistakes account for over 250,000 deaths in the US every year? What are you doing to keep yourself safe from that? Maybe we should shut down hospitals and doctors offices, right? Oh well, I'm rambling, you do what you think you need to do, just don't believe everything you hear. peace out

Why is USA in the top of Covid-19 ranking?
Favorite Answer:Simply because the USA didn't act fast enough to tackle the outbreak. Here in the UK we were the worst effected country in Europe!, But then our "lockdown" took effect and now we have one of the lowest infections in Europe. When we were in "lockdown" nothing except for supermarkets / grocery stores were open. Now it is very difficult to find the virus here in the UK, Our vaccine trials have gone to Brazil simply to find people with the virus.

Coronavirus?
I was around one of my friends on 8-21. Three of her coworkers tested positive today on 9-1. My friend has tested negative twice. I tested negative today but am running a fever of 100.1. I am due to start my period tomorrow and i’ve read that periods can sometimes cause flu-like symptoms. I have real bad anxiety and just don’t know whether the test was accurate or not.

About tetanus shot...?
I'm leaning away from getting it... According to the current AMA standards, will I be putting others in danger if I don't have this? Or only myself if I get cut with something rusty? My ma said to get it only if I plan on going to someplace where a trip to a hospital won't be easy, 3rd World Country, maybe... Or long hiking trip, though if I have my phone and it's in the United States... Should be fine?

Now that patients are being reinfected with the coronavirus does it mean that a vaccine will not help for more than a few months?
Favorite Answer:first of all, this Nevadan case would be the 4th case of reinfection with COVID-19 among 24+ million confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide.. a 4th case after one confirmed case of reinfection in Hong Kong, 2 cases (still under investigation) in Scandinavia and 1 (very recent) case in the US among 16,107,859 cases that had recovered from COVID-19 (that's 0.00024% of cases that had recovered from COVID-19 first time).. 16,107,855 people worldwide did NOT get re-infected with COVID-19 for the second time..
yes, there are other cases mentioned in the news but they were an extension of the first infection and were not a second re-infection = meaning that the person was actually recovering from COVID-19, discharged from the hospital but started to have symptoms after discharge from the same initial infection.. and unfortunately, the media initially claimed that they were a second reinfection cases, but later turned out to be false..
second.. COVID-19 vaccines (yes pleural) are said to activate both humeral and cellular immunity (both T-cells and B-cells immunity).. and even if the antibodies count were low soon after the infection, the Memory B & T cells remain in our system for decades and for years, and ready to be activated and produce antibodies much faster than normal rates.. if someone already has COVID-19, it is unlikely that he/she would benefit from the vaccine in the short run.. vaccines are mainly to help people who did not get COVID-19 before; and it is an important tool to fight off COVID-19 along with other tools like hand-washing, mask wearing, social distancing, crowd avoidance.. etc etc etc.. even after a vaccine is made available for general use, governments around the world, would still recommend all those things until the COVID-19 cases are in single digits at each individual country..
third, any national vaccine program will fail, if many people refuse to be vaccinated in the name of freedom and pseudoscience, if they refused to follow basic recommendations by local health departments, and if people continue to be sceptical about everything that doctors and experts say.. and unfortunately, the media often publish the sensation news and ignore basic science.. it confuses people, it shakes their beliefs in science and in long term solutions like vaccines..`

it makes me angry to see media being dishonest about things that they do not fully understand..

Is the USA most certainly going to have a 2nd wave in the Coronavirus Pandemic ?
Favorite Answer:The way things are going, I don't think there's any doubt about that. Even countries that got things well under control are just beginning to see a second wave -- not a resurgence of the first wave, but a second one.
