• If a 130 pound person jumped from 300ft, how fast would they be falling when they hit the ground?

    Best answer: Vf² = Vi² +2*a*d -----> Vf² = 0² +2*32.17*300 = 139²
    So he would hit at 139ft/s
    139ft/s * 1mi/5280ft *3600s/hr = 94.7 or about 95mi/hr

    41 years, 25 Regular Force. Still in.
    18 when I joined
    Branch: Canadian Forces, so, all of the above
    1. To serve Queen, and Country. Also, a strong family tradition.
    2. No.
    3. Long hours, lack of sleep, low pay, separation from family were the main ones.
    4. The fun parts of the job.
    5. It sucked. I became a Reservist, so, have never really transitioned, yet. Thinking about it, but, I really want to continue serving.
    6. I was in Communications, and lots of my colleagues suffered hearing loss. Many have applied for disability pensions based on this. Some have been successful in their applications for at least partial payments.
    7. We don't really have that in Canada. Veteran's Affairs does have some pensions, but, they are fairly limited, and tough to get. In Canada, we have public health care, so, we can be treated at very low cost, or free, depending on what province we live in.
    8. Canadian health care - not much to improve on!
    9. Experiences are different in different countries. Here in Canada, veterans are few compared to the USA, and we get virtually no benefits at all. No discounts, etc. But, we are proud to have served.

I really really need help on this, I will be extremely thankful for any your thoughts on this field, thank you for your time!

  • Urgent! How bad is it to take 2 aspirin when you don’t need it??

    Best answer: For just one time, no problem. If you wanted to take aspirin often, it depends on your state of health. Aspirin makes our blood thinner, so if you have a illness like hemophilia for example, it would be not good at all ( risk of hemorrhage). Then certain persons have an allergy to aspirin, but usually they know it... show more
