His snoring started nearly two years ago as a minor noise but has now gotten so bad I can hear him between rooms and he kept me awake last night it was so loud. It was louder than a bus driving past you on the street! He won’t acknowledge it and claims it doesn’t wake me up or keep me awake. I need sleep as we have a baby and I get up early every morning to get things done. He snores through his nose and his mouth no matter how he lies down or whether he’s on his back or side.

I ve been planning on going to this show tonight for months. I bought tickets, made arrangements. And last night i broke my pinky toe. Its swollen and purple, and very painful. I cannot miss out on this show!! I don t want to wear flip flops because there is no protection if someone steps on my foot (there are going to be a lot of people in a small space). The boots I was planning on wearing aren t thin or toe-crushing, and don t have any heels, but any pressure on my toe at all hurts; and I ll likely be standing during the show. I ve been icing my toe, but the swelling isn t going down at all, I m assuming because it s still so new. What do I do? Should I give up my ticket and hope the show comes around again? Is there a faster way to make the swelling go down?

So a few days ago I dislocated my knee, by far the worst pain I've ever felt, even worse than childbirth. My knee is now in a splint and I am unable to bend it which is causing me difficulties. People have to help me get up and down of the chair, which I've been living on basically for the last few days. However the main issue I'm facing is using the toliet, (I'm a 48 female), at the moment I am weeing in a small bucket type thing stood up which is not ideal but I can manage. However I have not pooed for over 3 days and i need some advice on how to relieve yourself stood up, the easiest way. I am on medication that has constipation as a side affect which doesn't help. I think the reason why I am unable to do this task is just a mental issue because it feels unnatural to do so. I am unable to go upstairs in my house but luckily I have a downstairs toilet. However the toilet is extremely low down so there is no way I could sit on it, even with my leg reached out. I know this is a long shot but has anyone been in any similar situation? I'm in constant pain and it takes me a good 20 minutes to even walk to the bathroom so getting laxatives would be a nightmare.

  • Has anyone tried Valium (diazepam) 5mg for RLS (restless leg syndrome)? It is opiate withdrawal induced RLS.?

Best answer: RLS requires a type of sedative to treat. All sedatives will have a component of addiction, however Valium is nothing like dealing with opiate addiction and your dosage is very low right now. You should try it and see if it helps if your doctor suggests it.

I woke up this morning with a dull pain above and to the left of my belly button. My stomach is swollen and I feel constipated and gassy but I'm not really passing gas. The pain in the upper left has gone away but I'm not having random sharp pains in the lower right side of my stomach. I had a low grade fever this morning (100,1) and it's now at 98.9. I don't want to go the hospital but I'm worried about my appendix. What do I do? Just wait to see if the pain becomes persistent since it just comes and goes in sharp waves now?

It will probably go away in a few days, but I’m kind of worried.
