It was the slutty wife he left my Mom for I think. He died suddenly Sunday so had no time to repent so is in hell (and I am not even a religious but believe in hell for him).

  • If a person's grandparent passes away and the person was really close to them, is it rude to refuse to go to the funeral?

Best answer: Yes, as well as immature.
Funerals are to gather and get through the grief.
It is selfish and immature to refuse to participate.
There are lots of things in life we don't like, but the right thing to do is still to show up and be respectful.

I was kinda confused and I just shook my head. Then after he got his food, the vendor called out to me for my order. I said a "medium vanilla coffee" and the old man gave me a look. Idk what just happened today. Was he implying that he wanted to pay for me before? But I don't think that was the case though, nobody is that nice.

Hi, so I work as computer desktop tech in my company. I self manage myself. My boss is in another state. Due to policy we just receive the type of monitor that they arrange with Dell, which changes, but it is always standard. I used to have a really good one from way before I started, but had to give it up when they hired someone without notice and I didn't have anything else to give. Then I got another one, old one, which was good, but also had to give it up due to a VP having dual monitor, one of them dying, and being this kind.. So I was left with the newer models which gave me a headache and hurt my eyes. I love my job and had been 3, 4 days with headache due to this monitor, no matter the adjustment. So I know it wasn't going to get approved, so I went and bought myself my own monitor with my own money, $370 dollars and it's great, but now I'm kind of having second thoughts as to spending so much... but this one doesn't hurt my eyes. Did anyone else do something similar, or what do you think of my actions? I won't get in trouble because of my actions, just if I leave the company I may get asked why I want to take the monitor, which could be an uncomfortable situation.

First of all I work in quite a poor city, I don't live here... But I work here as there is more job opportunities. There are quite a lot of beggars around these areas and I used to engage with them until I found out what they're really like. During my first couple of months over here I helped 3 "homeless" people out. The first one I had given a drink to as there was a discount on and I didn't need two drinks. He then approached me an hour later and asked me for the other drink. The second time was when I was walking back to work with food and someone asked me for 20p, I got my wallet out and they all of a sudden changed their minds and asked for £5... I ended up giving them £2 and then she proceeded to ask for my food and was rude to me when I told her "no". Till this day she continues to ask me for money every time she sees me and no matter how many times I say "no" she still turns up later on and asks. The third time was a "homeless" couple who constantly asked me for money. I was young at the time when I engaged with these people. But this stuff happens every day

It's infuriating me as the school is doing nothing about it and I feel like we should be respected as their elders. I don;t expect them to take their hats of when we walk past, but simply to listen to us when we tell them to stop (when their violating the school rules) and to speak to us respectfully. How can I change the way they treat us?

  • Is two-faced the same thing as the bi-polar disorder?

Best answer: No. "Two-faced" is a slang term, anyway. I figured you would have connected it to multiple personalitiy disorder more than anything.
