    Is an older car better?

I have a 2010 Chevy cobalt but I will be having my third child this year so this car will be too small. Thing is we can’t really afford another car note. Would it be better to buy a bigger car we could pay cash for or go ahead and get a car note??

Why do travel ads only tend to show rich people traveling at exotic luxury resorts?

You never see an ad of the average family traveling and staying at a cheap hotel, it's always at a $1000+ a night beach resort of the top of the line cruise ship, renting a convertible Audio or luxury car to drive in

Can I put a bag over my exhaust pipe?

My exhaust shoots out coolant when it runs. I need to move my car into the garage, but don't want to shoot coolant everywhere. I was gonna tape a plastic bag around it. Would that **** things up even more?

Why can't most auto mechanics just be honest?

I had my friend who is a mechanic put new pads and rotors on yesterday. We were bored after so just for fun we drove to Pep Boys and told them I think the brakes are rubbing. Sure enough, the guy comes back a half hour later and says the brakes and rotors are shot lol.

Do people still steal car radios, I'm carious?

I remember growing up, that was like a popular thing. The thing is, I just bought a new car. Or new used car. The radio was working a week ago but now it just wants me to reset. I watched a video on how to reset. The dude speaking in Spanish had the whole deck removed to reset it. If I'm going to remove the deck, then I minus well buy a new one but I don't want people trying to steal my new deck. That's why I want to know if there are still people trying to steal car radios?

Car starter works, but won't engage/turn over.  Do I have a bad connection?

So I have a 2016 Mazda 3 i Grand touring that I worked on today where I drove out of my garage and replaced my transmission. I am 99% certain that I got everything back together properly, however when trying to start the car now, I get a no crank no start.  Just a single click from what sounds to be coming from the starter.  I made sure the battery was working fine (testing lights and Blower motor) and tightened the terminals and cables leading into the starter.  I grabbed some jumper cables just to test the starter and make sure it works and it does, so my initial thought was that something had to be wrong with the connection to the starter.  I didn't have to remove anything close to the ignition so I don't see it being a bad ignition switch.  Maybe I am missing something else though that I am bypassing.  Maybe Mazda has something that requires a reset of sorts??  I am fine with hearing any suggestions.  Is there something else I can check or do?

What purpose does this truck serve? To me, it kind of looks like an ambulance, but it belongs to a tow truck company.

    Service break assist?

I have a 2017 Vauxhall corsa e 1.4 non turbo and my break assist is completely broken, when I checked under the bonnet there was a hissing sound coming from this cable. Does anyone know what this cable does or how his could be fixed as it does not stick back on, I have tried with a few different things such a super glue, metal putty, silicone and duct tape.

What can I do to properly fix a broken plastic headlight mount?

I hit a deer with my car the other day and broke one of the plastic mounting tabs. The headlight assembly isn't  that old and I really don't want to spend lots for the whole new assembly. All my lights work, it's just the mount is broke and the whole assembly wiggles around now. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Are most cars nowadays going to be turbo charged?

not only are they also trying to go electric. reason is I leased my 2020 Civic 2.0 n/a and wanted to get another Civic in 2023 when I can or heck any other car.

I like all my cars naturally aspirated as it is less wear and tear on the engine and less maintenance. But it seems to me everyone is going turbo charged. The corolla is not but I am not a fan of them. I have. a feeling that the next gen Civic will only be turbo charged.

The Jetta also isn't turbo charged for now.

Can loose spark plugs lead to a loss in compression (new spark plugs in M54 X5 engine)?

I do not know the correct torque specifications so what I did was hand tighten each plug and then a quarter turn for each plug. The car runs very, very smooth but I’m noticing that the acceleration seems kind of sluggish where the engine would be at higher than usual RPMS when accelerating while idling at 900 RPM during idle.

The BMW X5 E56 did display some error about a shift solenoid on its small screen and a triangle  with 4x4 in it. My Foxwell 310 does not pick up any stored or pending codes from the X5’s AT/engine modules, but it does display an amber light on the tool.

Does bumping your head on a doorframe while getting into a car necessarily cause permanent brain damage?

    Favorite Answer:

No. I've had that happen to me many times. Especially when exiting the car.

I'm taller than average and in small cars I've bumped my shoulders too whole getting out.

This is generally a very slow speed bump. It maybe uncomfortable but slow speed hit does no damage.

A Honda is an economy car.  What is with kids wanting to put a fart muffler on them and pretend they are sports cars?

I was in a rented minivan today and one sat beside me revving and revving so when the light turned green I took off at normal speed, not even trying and put 5 train lengths on him.  I looked back and just like all hondas do, he broke down on the side of the road with billowing smoke, as his overweight girlfriend got out of the passenger side and started crying.

    What truck should I buy?

Ok, I’m planning on buying a truck in 5 months time. I should have about 10,000 saved for the truck alone. I do not want to dip in other savings, that I have aside. With the being said, I want the truck to have 4x4. I would be using this truck for transportation back and forth from work but also taking it fishing and going back in the trails but nothing crazy. I dont care about the year, I just don’t want the miles to be too crazy and yes I wouldn’t mind getting a small lobe of about 8k?
