  • Do millennials know how to drive a car with a manual transmission?

Best answer: I sometimes think that you need to stop your question above with a question mark after the word "car" and delete all the words and punctuation after the newly placed question mark.

I'm planning on attending a concert tomorrow night at this venu that's across from a McDonalds, so it would be very convenient if I was to park there to say the least. The issue that I would like to address is not knowing whether or not there will be consequences for me deciding to leave my car there for 2-4 hours potentially. The reason as to why I'd prefer doing this as opposed to parallel parking is because I've only parallel parked once and am very inexperienced with it. I drive a huge Ram Dodge truck, so I'd prefer avoiding a situation in which I'd need to desperately search for a relatively large space to park a relatively large car. Does anyone know the policy? I know that it's unlikely that I'm going to be towed, but I'd still like to know how likely it is.

  • How do deal with unsafe drivers?

Best answer: Avoidance is the best way. Go to junk yard and get a VW chrome emblem and glue it to the back of your car. The other driver will see VW and automatically assume he is driving too slow....so will pull out and pass you.

Even if YOU are speeding, he will pull out and pass you.

Or also get a DIESEL chrome emblem and stick on the back of your car and people avoid you LIKE THE PLAGUE. You stink. and are too slow..

If you do drive a diesel, just shove it down into a lower gear and tromp on the accelerator pedal which should produce excess black smoke. They back off.

Proper distance between you and the next car is a 2 second interval. As soon as the car in front passes a sign you count 1 N 2N and you should just reach that sign. That is the distance needed to stop for your car. Whether you are going 30MPH or 130MPH the 2 second rule applies. I have more like a 4 second space because I can.

As for being in the right lane, you are in the proper lane. It they want to pass they must pass you using the left lane. Otherwise I ignore them especially since they do not have the flashing lights a cop car, ambulance or fire truck has, then you pull over to the shoulder of the road and stop until the emergency vehicles pass. Then get on the road again. The left lane "sometimes called the passing lane" is for emergency vehicles...so they can go like a BAT OUT OF HELL to the emergency.

As for the clown behind you that moves without signal lights....he got his driver training play Nintendo car driving games.

The guy behind you with the high beams. It is his problem if you are in the right lane. He has to pass in the left lane or STFU. i just adjust my rearview mirror so his headlights do not reflect into my eyes.

Some people drive only with the highbeams on not realizing that it affects the drivers in front of them. General *******.

They don't know how to drive., or are visually impaired.

Fortunately not all drivers are like that.

Instead of doing 60 do 50 and that will force them to pass you . You would rather them be in front than behind you.

I drove VW Beetle for years so got used to this B.S. Also drove a Diesel.for years. And a sports car for years and with that car you could be purposely going under the speed limit and the other cars stayed behind you, SO...go figure?

  • Why do you have to turn the key to "on" just to check fuel level?

This may be a stupid question, and it's something that got me thinking as to why they stopped doing this. Does anyone know why car makers stopped making their fuel gauges displaying fuel level with the car turned off? Now that I think about it, they may have stopped doing that as it would be easy for a car jacker to jack the car knowing they had plenty of fuel without needing the keys to find out.

  • When is the best time to purchase your own vehicle?

Best answer: Ideally, when you can pay cash in full.

Beyond that, the last day of the month/Last day or the year even better.

But the last part assumes you are a very good negotiator and you are buying from a dealer. Most people are not and should not.

  • Should I buy this cheap high mileage car?

Hi all. Right now I can score a 2013 Chrysler 300, AWD, loaded, with the 3.6L V6 for $7k from a dealership. Only problem is that it has 187k on it. Do they typically last longer than that or should I pass?

  • Trading in financed car?

I have a 2016 Hyundai with 35k miles. I still owe $14,500 on the car. Is it possible to trade the car in for instance, a $9,000 used Honda, without owing money? My goal is to eliminate monthly car payments.
