  Do you check with a restaurant (even "fast food") if the staff has a temp check beforehand?

  I'm so concerned even about getting "take out," but I feel a little less anxious if the restaurant or diner checks the staffs' temperature before their shift.

  Credit card declined at Fast food restaurant, should I go back and pay?

  I went to a fast food restaurant today, my friends card got declined we didn’t notice and the worker let us leave the store, I gave my name and number just incase we were going to sit and eat inside the restaurant because of covid. We left the restaurant and 5-10 minutes later I get a call from the restaurant saying that my friends card was declined and that we need to come back and pay, I said ok, but I never ended up going back because there was a bunch of traffic and I wasn’t going to turn around for a $10 meal. She called me again an hour later and left a message telling me that my friend didn’t pay and that it was only $10 so that I need to come back and pay it. I called her back telling her that I’m not driving all the way across town and waste gas money to pay for a $10 meal that she should’ve caught before we left the store. She started raising her voice at me on the phone telling me that I was stealing and that the head office was going to get Involved, I told her it wasn’t my fault that she messed up and to get her manager to call me. Was I in the wrong? The only reason she had my phone number is because we were potentially going to sit and eat in the restaurant, and that number is supposed to be for the health care centre in my town incase of a covid outbreak. I deal with customers too and own up to my mistakes, what do you think about this situation?

  Olive Garden is racist restaurant?

  I have been to Olive Garden restaurant and they are weird. I went there 2 times and once was with my mom and the waiter brought out a pizza that was covered with rock salt. I couldn't eat it. and I went there with my friend's friends. We were all Asian. and the way the waitress look at us was strange.

  Why would a Philly cheesesteak place charge $1 to add mayo on a cheesesteak whereas their burgers come with mayo for no additional charge?

  At my local Philly cheesesteak eatery, a Philly cheesesteak costs $14.25 and if you request mayo for that they charge an additional $1.00 whereas the burger they serve costs $7.50 and comes with mayo for no additional charge.

  Why would a place price their menu item options like that?

  I tip the server 20% if I go to an all you can eat place I give $3 to $5  if I get deliver and it free deliver I to 20% and if the charge fee and other charges I tip 5%

  When at a restaurant with friends do I say I want to separate the bill before we order food? Or can I say it after when the bill comes?

  If I’m sharing a bill with 2-3 people and I only have a debit card? Can I ask server to put any amount of money on my debit card?

  For ex. Any amount $21, $33, $27, $31, $29,or $32 (including tip within these specific amounts). Then the server gives back a receipt and I can write the tip down?
