• Did you get into Harvard?

Best answer: No. I never applied, and I wouldn't get in if I did. Even if I got in though, I couldn't afford it anyway.

My piano teacher was a right b*tch and funnily enough, everyone in my sixth form who had a lesson with her had now quit and she was known for being mean. My mum was aware of this and she was fine with me not going because she knew I didn't like her. However, fast forward to now - and even though THIS term I did not to go a single lesson, she's still billing us 222 pounds because we didn't give her a letter saying I was quitting. WHAT? It's a bit bloody obvious mate, I haven't shown up to your lessons in months. This is a lot of money to us and I'd rather we not pay it and spend it on something better. However, I understand that we could be in the wrong so I'd like someone who has a better understanding of this to explain. Thanks

  • Are there rules of time between College days?

Today I have to be in from 9am until 11pm for an assignment and I'm wanted back in tomorrow at 9am, it takes me half an hour to travel to/ from home. While I'm fine to do this it got me wondering if there were rules of how long students can work and how long they should have off between days?

Yesterday my 6 year old son came off the school bus crying that the substitute bus driver was mean and abusive to him. Apparently, the bus driver missed the turn for our coulversack from the main road. My son knows the main road and coulversack by heart. So when the bus driver passed our coulversack and kept going on the main road, my son started crying, because he was afriad he was never going to go home again. I was shocked and outraged by the bus driver's response. The bus driver turned around and said to my son in a very abusive tone of voice "Ah shut up or I will slap your brains out." Then the bus driver clapped his hands together real loud, to make a slapping sound. The slapping sound scared my son even more than what he said. Afterwards, the bus driver looked at the bus aide (who did nothing to intervene and stayed silent) and said "Sometimes, you just got to slap their brains out" and he clapped his hands together again real loud to the bus aide. What should I do to handle this. I called the school and they are looking into this.

  • How can I provoke the bully?

This girl has been relentlessly bullying me for the past year and the school won't do much to help me so I want to provoke the bully so that she ends up doing something that will make the school have to act. I can't hit her but I would like some ideas that might make her hit me.

So after a series of setbacks I've decided the best way to overcome my problems and get ahead in life is going back to college. Easy enough but when I tried applying for classes I wish to take it's telling me "You must complete an application to register for this course". Now I haven't been to college since fall of 2015 so forgive my lack of remembrance but does that mean I have to reapply. If that's so okay I guess but I don't see the major I took previously (theater arts). Is that the reason? Did they (Rancho Santiago Community College) decide to get rid of it? I don't know but if it isn't wouldn't I still be in the system to not reapply. I'm sorry if I sound ignorant but it's been a while I just want to do college the right way this time.

Best answer: Don't worry - you have absolutely no reason to feel guilty. As for feeling guilty - being happy is important too. In my experience, I study better when I'm happy and not troubled by anything. If you don't take time to be happy then you're probably not going to be working at your best. Not only that - but your hobby is actually a pretty useful skill, something many people would study.

You have no reason to feel guilty. Taking time away from work is important, and if that wasn't good enough - your hobby happens to be a useful skill that might improve your chances of getting a job anyway.

The same applies for college. As I am retaking 2 years of my studies I am too "old" to join an regular sixth form college and I was wandering if I could fake my DOB for them?! No where would accept me due to my age and unfortunately it seems like I'd be left without an education as i don't have enough qualifications to get into uni too.

Apparently that's offensive to all the 'Good Muslims'. I never said that there aren't good Muslims or that every Muslim is part of ISIS. All I said was ISIS was made by and for radical Muslims. All the teachers think I'm racist (even though Islam is a religion and not a race). One teacher asked me if I knew that ISIS was a terrorist group, and I was like, "no, I thought it was a f*cking porn site". I didn't actually say that, but that's the mentality I had about this. Thanks, stupid radical sjw school system!
