can a "low straight flush" hand beat "4 aces" in poker?

    Favorite Answer:

ANY straight flush beats 4-of-a-kind in Poker, regardless of what the "high card" in the hand is.

In your example, Player A (w/ the Straight Flush) beats Player B (w/ 4-of-a-kind), even though Player B has all aces.

The only time the "high card" comes into play if both players have the same type of hand.

    > If Player A has 4 Jacks to Player B's 4 Aces, Player B would win on the high card (J vs A).

    > If Player A has 7-High Straight Flush (7-6-5-4-3) to Player B's 10-High Straight Flush (10-9-8-7-6), Player B would win on the high card (7 vs 10).

Was this Poker Hand played out correctly question?

    My hand: A,9

    Friend's hand: A, 4

The community pile : A, K, 8, 2, 3In this case a tie was called as the highest hand for both of us was AAK.

We split the chips, but there was an odd amount on the lowest chip. In this case my friend was awarded the odd chip as he had an Ace of Hearts and I had an Ace of Diamonds. Did we play this out correctly?

Who wins this hand? Unique flush.?

    Okay, Texas Hold'em

    Two players in the game

    Player A:

    6♥️K♥️

    Player B:

    4♥️A♠️

    Table/Board:

    A♥️Q♥️10❤8❤5♠️

I'm aware that the strongest Flush wins, but when the strongest card is shared, who wins? Player A's 6 card Flush with the second highest flush card? OR Player B with the Flush plus two Aces? Both share an Ace high Flush.

In Magic the Gathering, what is the point of fetch-land cards?

    Favorite Answer:

There's two things you gain out of it:

    1) Depending on how many colors your deck has and how versatile the fetchland is, it allows you to get the color of mana you need to play a specific card you want to play *right now*. If you are running Black/White for example, and draw 3 Swamps, all white cards in your hand are dead cards. But if one of those Swamps was instead a fetchland instead, you could pull a Plains and have more options on what to play.2) It effectively is a 2-for-1 on using up lands from your deck. One of the biggest struggles with deckbuilding in Magic is that you need somewhere around 35-40% of your deck to be land in order to have a good chance of getting enough land in your starting hand, but most really good decks have little to no use for more than 5 or 6 mana in any single turn, so you very quickly get to where you *don't* want to draw land. Fetchlands pull lands out of your library, and therefore increase the percentage of cards left in your library that are *not lands*, aka, useful cards for combating your opponent. Also, don't focus too much on the loss of one or two life. The only life point that matters is your last one.

Buyer wants me to devalue product to avoid customs fees?

I’m selling some Pokémon cards to a buyer in Malaysia for $1400 plus $40.50 shipping. He wants me to devalue product so he can avoid paying fees. Post office advised me to put the correct value in case the product gets lost or damaged and it also comes with tracking. What do I do?

Got in a fight over game of spades ??? Why ??

    Favorite Answer:

It sounds to me as though at least two of the four people playing Spades in this story are immature idiots.

As a professional, I'd like to explain why.

The card thrower is an immature idiot for getting upset during a game and throwing things. That's pathetic.

You're also  an immature idiot for reacting to the situation in the way you did. Punching someone repeatedly for saying something you don't like just shows how much you lack self control and makes you look pathetic.

I hope you're happy with this professional response.
