Even at formal work parties, she wears trousers, I am good friends with her, so see her socially, she again always wears trousers, such as slacks or jeans She actually said she doesn't own a dress at all. There are rumors about her because of this and her short hair cut etc Is it strange for a woman to always wear trousers?

  • Is it comfortable for girls to wear thongs when they play sports like soccer ?

Best answer: The way my girls described it is this...all the other underwear gets bunched up in a wedgie anyway...so it's just easier to wear a thong to play.

Best answer: I like really high heels. The most I've worn were 5/6 inches. I'm usually 5'3 but when I wear them I become 5'7. It's great.

  • Why did this girl tell me I have poor taste?

Best answer: She's one of the many ignorant idiots that fill our population unfortunately. It's best to just ignore them, or let them know how gross their opinion is.

  • Why are guys tucking their t-shirts into their jeans considered weird/nerdy in today's society?

It doesn't seem to be the norm like it was years ago cause you don't hardly ever see a guy with a tucked in shirt anymore. My dad has always tucked his t-shirts into his jeans and so I always thought it was normal. It seems more old fashioned cause not many people my age seem to do it compared to some of the previous generations. I don't see it as nerdy cause there are guys I know that work on cars and watch sports that dress that way, so you can't just judge somebody off on one little thing I guess.

I don't wear standard lingerie or pajamas when I sleep so my casual wear has been "morphed" with my casual/weekend/lounge wear as I normally dress up wearing things like pencil skirts as a daily basics. So that's the reason why I feel like wearing a pajamas when I sleeping in the shorts/pants, not out of the style itself but because of the non-zipper/button in front and elastic waistband! I've a no problem wearing these outfits when on a beach occasion or at home, but people who usually dress more casually, do you think they looks sloppy for a day at the park or outdoor cafe? and yes, I'm not a teenager, I'm in my late twenties but I'm somewhat tiny and childish in appearance (people think I'm like a high schooled but older body wise but that's because I'm a bit unfit as I don't exercise despite I'm a 5'6" 115ibs), but I've never been a body concious person nor somebody bothering about what is consider age appropriate as I live where the etiquette are a bit more down to earth. People even wear jeans to weddings here. So for age reason, I don't care, I'm talking about the style.

  • Why did people start dressing down in the 1970s and 1980s?

People dressed more formal and fitted prior to the 70s. Nowadays most people dress kind of sloppy. Even when people "dress up" they still look casual and loose.

  • Can I wear a regular sports bra to go swimming?

I’m a really short person- 4’11, and I can’t find a bathing suit to fit me. I wear a D cup, and I tried several bathing suits on, and the bra will go close to my belly button because of how short I am. Would swimming with a regular bra and a swim shirt damage the bra? In the ocean? Pool?

I used to be much more into the "goth" fashion- edgier style for sure. Then I was with someone who didn't like this about me and I changed. I kinda felt like people accepted me more. And others didn't like me and felt I seemed like I was too good for them (wearing nice clothes and some designer items) Flash forward to my early 30's and I am no longer with the guy that didn't accept me and am married to someone that does accept me. I wear all black again but much more simple. Very minimal accessories. But it's all black. He says I'm not weird for it and it's fine if it's all I ever wear, but I feel self conscious. I love to wear black, I love that I can have a minimal wardrobe and that everything matches and I just like it. I feel very comfortable. Yet self conscious. Like must I always wear black? Of course not. Do I want to? Yes! I feel like if someone doesn't like it, they'd probably find a reason they don't like me for anyways even if I didn't wear all black. I also feel like it weeds out the people who are jerks and superficial. But I'm curious what others think of this. I kind of feel like wearing all black (and much more out there clothes) is becoming more common these days anyway. I can't really tell if I'm still self conscious because of my past, or what.
