Best answer: They keep electing corrupt leaders and they have a lot of natural disasters that are truly unfortunate. Trump shouldn't have insulted them that badly considering the majority of them working harder than most Americans and live in worse conditions. The fact is regions like this always have corrupt leaders and a very difficult time getting back together. There should definitely economic aid (helping Haitian businesses expand internationally and even tourism aids) in order to help Haiti survive.

Best answer: My brother was assigned to Haiti for 18 months and he confirms "**** hole" is an inaccurate description of Haiti because the country is much worse than a "**** hole".

However, Trump denies he said the words "**** hole". I have not heard anyone who was actually in the meeting confirm Trump said that. All I have seen are 2nd hand hearsay claims he said it. Just like the claims last week he said something about Haitians having AIDS (when a huge percentage of Haitians DOES have AIDS).

False claims of racism are a standard Democrat dirty tricks tactic. Don't fall for it.

  • Can you drink under 21 on private islands in the Bahamas?

Best answer: The private islands generally have the same rules as the ships. But here's something to cheer you up; if your parents or an older person order you a drink on the ship, no on really cares. The 21 year age limit is set by the cruise line, not the law, and they are self-regulating. Actually if you are an attractive female who looks 21, sometimes you can even get served without having someone else order you a drink.

the cruise lines are more concerned about people sharing drink packages than underage drinking, assuming, of course, you don't turn into a drunk idiot. An it can vary form cruise to cruise. On one, my kids were under 21. I ordered a bottle of wine for the table and the server asked how many glasses. I said three, and they brought three. No fuss, no muss. On others, I tried the same thing on another cruise (same cruise line), and they asked the kids' ages. But if I just ordered a bucket of beers, there were no problems.

Don't believe the people who say if someone buys you a drink, they will be kicked off the ship. Both of my kids are over 21 now, but on Carnival, Celebrity and RCL, there was never any problem when I ordered a drink and gave it to them. I mean I wasn't obvious, but it was no big deal.

I don't want to offend these men but I also don't want there to be any misunderstanding where they think I'm leading them on. Things I've already tried: 1. blatantly ignoring all innuendos and flirtatious comments 2. wearing a wedding ring and claiming to be married Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

She’s going as a med student with her fellow med students and professors to give medical care to those without insurance and health care. It’s a good cause but I keep thinking about the trafficking and missing women there and as the day approaches for her departure I have a nervous feeling in my stomach and am getting really worried. I think it is made all the worse by the fact that she will have limited WiFi access and no cell service. Is it safe there? Will she be fine and I am just worrying myself silly for no reason? Or am I justifiably and reasonably afraid for her?
